Being new to Memverse, I should introduce myself to you all. :)
My Name is Terra and I am 14 years old. I have six siblings, three older and three younger. All of us are home schooled except the oldest two, who have just recently finished. I live in Cape Cod, MA, and have been here for 8 years. My dad is the pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod (PCCC).
My favorite things to do are knitting, sewing, reading, making crafts, sending letters and emails, playing outside, and climbing trees (it is amazing what things you can see from a forty foot tree!) I also enjoy going on bikes rides and playing with my siblings. My siblings are all so different, and yet so alike!
Anyway…
I use to do memverse (a while ago) but stopped. :/ Then my older brother River encouraged me to start it up again, because it helped him to memorize his verses. So I finally started, and here I am! I am already so thankful to be on Memverse! It has helped me tremendously with some of the tricky verses I had. It has also helped me grow by being in God's word more, and having it in my head to recite while I clean the house, or anything in that category. ;)
A couple of years ago my siblings and I memorized the whole book of James, and sadly, haven't been very consistent with keeping it up, so I am excited to add it to my verses soon, and hopefully it will help me to keep it in my head! :)

Welcome, Terra, to the MV forums! We are all kind of crazy but we love each other and have lots of fun! Certain users on here like to tease but you'll get used to them after a while…and if you don't like teasing just don't respond and they won't bother you.

Some main topics on here are the social chatting ones. We have a new one each month and that's the place where we can just chat and have crazy conversations. Then there's the MUL (Memverse User List) that tells about each user. The MV Government is a fun place as well…each person has a different position in the government. :P And last but not least we have the Happy Birthday thread…where we have a list of everybody's birthday and some MV "holidays".

My name is Carissa…or Cari as some people here call me. If you ever have a question I'd be happy to help answer it if I can. :) I hope this site is an encouragement to you and lots of fun! :D

Hi, Hannah! I use to play Piano, but then switched to the organ. Because I wasn't doing too well with playing left and right hand, as well as both feet on the pedal, I stopped. I may go back to it, but I have been really interested in saxophones, clarinets, and things in that category. :) Do you??

Ok, neat!!! :D I play flute alto saxophone, piano, and very soon I'm gonna start up guitar. I've played clarinet before, and it was really interesting but just not my style of instrument. :D Wind instruments are really fun!!! :D

Well, they're more like expansion packs really. All different kinds - Cities & kinghts, seafarers, travelers & barbarians, and pirates & explorers.

Raw oatmeal is what we eat every single day. :D Sometimes I like putting maple syrup or chokecherry syrup in. :D what do you like?

Well, our breakfasts vary… Pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, baked oatmeal, grits and eggs, scones, oatmeal, sausage and eggs, and apple bake. There are more, but I can't think of them now… ;)
Oatmeal is good, but I prefer having something in it, like raisins, honey, nuts, apples, and such. What is chokecherry syrup??? For now, sleep well, and I will talk to you tomorrow, if I don't get back to you tonight! :D

You play organ? I just started, but I've never met someone anywhere near my age who plays/played! My sister plays the clarinet.

Yes!…Well, I did play but haven't been doing it for a while. Along with my other excuses, my family has been so busy with school, conferences, and a summer camp, as well as traveling to CA, that I couldn't keep it up. But I am hoping to get back into it soon. :)
