I'm Melissa, and I used Memverse up until a few years ago when I suffered a concussion. But God has blessed, and I'm able to start again. Although I did need to delete all my verses and truly start again.

Question though. I'd like to memorize 1 Cor 13, but I don't want to have to spend time memorizing each verse individually just so I can pass the reference part. Is there a way to get the reference part to just accept "1 Corinthians 13" any time a verse from that chapter is brought up since I'm memorizing the whole chapter? Or is there a way to avoid having those verses quizzed on the reference part.

In other words while working on the reference work, I don't want to have to try to figure out if it's verse 5 or 6 from that chapter. That seems tedious to me.

Yeah just go to your profile under application settings, deselect "test all references"
When you do that it'll only test the first verse in each passage, although you'll still have to get each verse perfectly.

Yes, that's correct! By deselecting "test all references" on your profile preferences it will only ask for the first verse in a passage. So for 1 Corinthians 13, it would only test verse 1 and you'd have to type in "1 Corinthians 13:1". It will do the same thing for all passages in your account. So if you had, say, John 3:16-19, it would only ever quiz you on John 3:16. I hope this helps!
I'm praising God to hear that He has healed you to the point where you can begin memorizing His Word again! May God bless you in that endeavor!

Hi Melissa, I am glad that you asked that question regarding the references. I am trying to work on chapters and it seems awkward to remember all of the verse references too.
