No, I haven't seen any of their movies (but I've enjoyed the trailers X) ). Our families met about 7 years ago at a conference in GA, and we enjoyed each other there. We really haven't kept up, and I was pretty small then, but I remember they were a sweet family! :)

I enjoy reading too! What are some of your favorite books, and what have you been reading lately?

I think Civil War history is really neat, too. In fact, about a year ago I began a play (a musical) set before the Civil War (leading up to it). It's on hold right now, but I hope to work more on it later. It's fictional, but I want it to be historically accurate, so I really need to do more research before working on it more :)

Okay, neat! I think I have heard of that (it sounds familiar, and we may even have it somewhere in our house), but I don't remember reading it.. Well, I recently finished several books by the Frank Peretti. They're called This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, and Prophet. They're Christian contemporary novels (though they are all about 20 years old, so not as contemporary any more, haha xP), with a lot of intense angels vs. demons and spiritual warfare in general– definitely page-turners! I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't want to only read books like that, since I like books that are bit more toned-down too x) Right now I'm reading a book called The Lady of Daldriada. My sister and I recently attended a workshop by the Christian author, Phyllis Keels, and she had some really helpful insights and it was really nice meeting her. I can give you a link to her website, it you like :) I'm really liking her book so far!

No, I'm actually not, but yes, a bunch of Memversers are! I'm kinda a loner on here in that regard, haha xD (not really, but sometimes it feels like that). xP Our family is just involved in too many other things to commit to something like that. But it's fun to hear about it from all you other MV BBers ;D

Welcome to Memverse. Thats cool that you play piano, how long have you been playing?

This is going to be my 4th year playing, i go to a piano teacher also.

That's really cool! Yelena and me go to the same piano teacher. At the teachers place it's always warm in the winter. XD

We don't usually play duets, we only did it like once or twice, on a recital.
