Memverse still active?

Hi - can someone tell me if this site is still active? I stepped away for the last few years but want to get back into it. Before I do, wanted to confirm it's still supported. The last blog post I see is from 2017 so wanted to double check. Thanks!

I am still active on memverse, but I don't know how much other people are.

HI, ZNM & Paul. Absolutely, it is active. The little glitch in the One Church Leaderboard was fixed today. When you go there, you'll see that there are 614 active users still using it. Praise God! I've made it a special prayer focus this year to more than double our active members by the end of this year than what it was at the end of 2019. Hope to see you active again . . . and spread the word . . . and do pray for Memverse in 2020!!

And, now, a week after my last post, the One Church Leaderboard is now showing 620 active users. Let's keep praying for, and spreading the word, about this wonderful online tool!

As we approach the end of March, we now have 636 active users and have exceeded 606,162 memorized verses (a couple of days ago) and both are continually growing. Praise God!! Keep praying, keep spreading the word, and keep healthy for the glory of God!!

What do you mean "that memverse.com" is not back on? Did you mean to say "BibleBeeGal" is not back on though you are on every day? Something is a little confusing here! :)

I see. But you already answered that person the day after he made his March 2nd post (on Mar 3). So I didn't expect you to answer it again so many months later, after other conversation thoughts had been made. But you've cleared up the confusion.

I'm not sure, even back on March 2nd, where he came up with "2017" as there have been MANY forum posts since 2017. I suspect he is referring to the "blog" section. Guess someone will have to create a new one :) to let people know Memverse is still very much alive and well . . . even in these pandemic times.

Although I think that a lot of the memverse and forum usage was coming from Bible Bee, but since the BB community came out, and they quit doing quizzes for bbers a lot of people from BB have stopped using memverse as much (I know that since they stopped doing those quizzes I wasn't on memverse for several years)

Thanks for the explanation. Guess that is why my daily prayers are seeming to be unanswered :( . . . as the number of active users has dropped from 474 on June 7 to 451 as of today, July 12. It's been on a steady, sad, decline for some time.

But now I understand a little better the reason "why" from your explanation. I appreciate it. Hope you are still keeping up your memorization work in some manner (Memverse or otherwise). It is good to keep writing God's word on our hearts and minds. Then we can take it with us wherever we go, whether we have a Bible with us or not.

Yes! good point, right now I'm working on bible bee, we are currently studying the story of Joseph, and it has helped me realize that no matter what God has a plan for the long haul whether or not we know it! And yes people continue to work hard on memorizing so I will hope that they still do so, as for me I still use memverse and I'm really hoping it doesn't die because it's really awesome!

I totally agree with you–that Memverse is awesome!! My morning and evening prayers since this past Jan 1/2020 has been asking the Holy Spirit to move upon the hearts, minds, spirits, and memories of hundreds of inactive users . . . drawing, wooing them back to Memverse.

Along with guiding hundreds of new users who may be searching online for a Bible memorization tool . . . to be led to Memverse. While the numbers have been been falling, I'm not discouraged and will keep on praying for Memverse.

Hope you'll include Memverse in your daily prayers, too.

Thanks, by the way do you know where I can put in a request, under contact the said there was a forum, but I can't find it, I'm really hoping that they can start doing the live quizzes for Bible Bee again!

To be honest, I do not know how the Bible Bee quiz ever worked. But, when you go to the main Home page of Memverse, in the lower right hand corner is a bubble "?". If you click on it, you can "send us a message", "give feedback or ask for help." I would suggest trying that, though I have no idea who monitors it, or how frequently it is checked. You could also try sending a regular email to "admin@memverse.com" and make your thoughts know. Again, I'm not sure if you will receive a prompt reply there, or a delayed reply, or perhaps no reply.

I see that you found the "Bible Bee" forum group, and have made a couple of posts there.

So, lil'biblegal, my apologies for not knowing more to be able to help you. But I would certainly suggest pursuing at least the above options . . . you will never know where that might lead you in God's plan.

Hi to all memverse users! I just wanted an update on if anyone is still consistently active besides me and a few people.

Hi, Waky Zaky (WZ), if you check out the "One Church" leaderboard chart, you will see that currently (as of today) there are 437 active users. It goes up and down. Obviously most of these active users are simply using the Memverse memorization tools, and not participating in any forums. So don't be discouraged, WZ, if it only looks like a dozen of us are still active. There are over 400 of us actively using Memverse over the past 30 plus days! Praise the LORD!!!

And today . . . it has jumped up a little to 442 active users!
Keep praying that God will bring back hundreds of "inactive" users, and hundreds of "new" users . . . so that for 2021, Memverse will become a super tool in the hands of all of them as they seek to write God's word on their hearts and lives for His glory!!!

I'm one of those active users for memorization, but infrequent at best on the forums. I first looked and used the forum when trying to get an answer to why my verse wasn't showing up how I expected and then saw the request about increasing active members so have been praying and checking the forum periodically.

I see in the past the forums were very active social places, at least among Bible Bee-ers. I use it as one of my Bible memory and review tools. The important thing is that we, and others, are studying and hiding God's word in our hearts.

God bless you all in this new year. May we all be sharing with others and ready when Jesus comes.

I was wondering about this myself. I made my account in 2013 I believe, used it regularly for several years then stopped for several more. But I am back and I think this is by far the best memory site. I'm hoping to get my church to start using as well
