Hello, my name is Stefani Longo. My number one goal in life is please God. I am a senior in the Bible bee this year, and I find this a good study resource.

my introduction didnt really tell you all that much :D

I am sixteen years old, and I still have my original name (see above). I have 4 other siblings, and I like to read, play music, cook with my brother,sew, spend time with nice friends, and teach my siblings some of their school. I really like logic, geometry, and debate. We have been apart of the ATI program for 9 years now, and this is our third year doing Bible bee.
I /don't/ like to- clean out the chicken coop, go outside in the cold weather, and wake up late.
something I collect is instruments-so far I have 5 of my own.

No this is actually my third year. My second year as a Senior.

It's so hard to describe!! :D its so much fun and so encouraging! I've never been as a qualifier, but I REALLY want too! :)

It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is wonderful taking the tests and then watching the semi-finals and finals…though I really hope that this year I will be in them :D. And then to be able to spend a whole weekend with like-minded friends and getting to meet lots of new friends. It is an awesome weekend!

Oh great! This is my fourth year actually competing! I signed up in 09 but didn't really compete. :)

Nationals is so wonderful….amazing….awesome…!!! It is so much fun, and it is so great to be around all the contestants who are so kind and sweet! It's so encouraging! And to see the dedication of these kids and their families to the Word of God, it's beyond words…

I've never made it to Nationals, so I don't know if I could give you any better advice than that. Maybe finish your verses early, so you can focus on your Sword Study.

To introduce myself, my name if Bethany. You won't see me around here to much, because I'm trying to stay away from the computer as much as possible (because I'm busy with Bible Bee studying, piano practice, etc.) but every one in a while (like now!) I'll pop in to see everything is going :)

BTW, I saw that you said on the "I<3music" thread that you like listening to the Soundforth Singers and Steve Pettit. So do I! If we're talking about the same Soundforth singers, do you have a favorite song of theirs? I really like "Bow the Knee", "For the Glory of the Lord" "Faithful I will be" and "Wonderful Grace of Jesus"! They have great, God-honoring music, which I'm thankful for!

Thanks! Yes we are talking about the same Soundforth! I like bow the knee as well! my favorite is probably Lord How I love thy law. We did that at our church for a conference once. I usually prefer music other that secular or ccm. have you heard of sms or the wissmann family?

I haven't heard of "Lord, how I love they law" I'll have to look it up! Have you listened to any on the "Faithful I will be" album? Those are my families favorite! We really like putting that music on when we're doing chores, and then all sing with it :)

I don't know if ATI sells it, but you can get it on grooveshark. That's where we listen to it all.

That's neat that you know them personally! I met them briefly back at the 2011 National Bible Bee! Yes, I really like the "He is Faithful" and we're excited that they are making a new CD as well!

I play violin harp piano mandolin banjo and little guitar and cello I also sing and yodel. originally just knew violin and piano, but then the littles started taking lessons and mom and dad asked me to help with their practice.

Wow! You play lots of instruments! Which is your favorite to play? I would really like to start on cello, harp, and violin sometime in my life. I own a flute, but I can't play write now with all my mouth work that is going on :)

I probably like the banjo and the harp the best. Violin is one of m favorites too. If you can play the violin you can play the mandolin b/c the strings are set up the same way. same with harp and piano .

yes. most people dont like our style of music. ( more of a conviction,but ….they can put it as they like!)

Yeah, I have braces, and just recently I had jaw surgery down, so I'm still "recovering" from that, and my mouth isn't up to playing flute yet. Once my mouth work is done, I'll start though!

Yeah, it's very rare for my to find someone who likes the same music as me.
