Hey all you guys who are part of the memverse society!! I'm so glad to be able to memorize scripture and increase my knowledge of God's work on this web. I just want to take some time to introduce myself because I've been a member for quite a while now. So I am 16 years old, live in Maple Falls, Washington (very pretty place if you don't know) and am currently in Running Start (while still in high school :() I want to be a landscape designer when I grow up (or have my own floral shop) because I LOVE plants and just the art of designing things with real stuff. I also play the piano (my 3rd official year, but I was learning to play since like 4rth grade) and flute. I would say that I enjoy music as much as I do plants just because I play the piano and love to create beautiful pieces of music. I also am a competitive person and like to hike, bike, play any sport with my family/relatives, and train dogs. Right now, my life is filled with school stuff which challenges my day-to-day life so I can't wait until I finish high school, get my AA degree and move on with life. I hope my experience at memverse will increase my spiritual life so that my thoughts would be filled with God's word so that I could meditate on it day and night.

Welcome, Svetlana! I'm also 16. I wen to the Olympic Peninsula in WA a few years ago, and it was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen!

Thanks, Gloria. That is so cool that you're part of the swim team. I, on the other hand, am not a great swimmer and have not really learned how to swim without a life jacket yet :(…..that is on my to do list for this year though!

I have a friend who hadn't swam until she was 25.

my sister she's 25 and she didn't swim until like 23 weh my uncle pushed her out into the water.

ok. :( You should learn to swim! ;) I learned when I was 4, my mom was also a swimmer, then a lifeguard, then a coach. :)

Yeah, my grandparents had a pool. My brother also learned at the same time as I, he was 2 at the time, O.o ;)

Hey! I'm glad to see new people here! It's been officially forever since I was on here, but I'm hoping to be on a bit more this summer. :) That's so cool that you like doing things with plants; my younger sister really likes doing those sorts of things, too. I play piano, too. :D Can't wait to talk to you more!

@Rachel me too!! I am sort of busy these days, but in the summer time, I want to be here more often because of such great people who are involved in memverse! Also, I decided to try doing Bible Bee this year (my first year ever because I found out about it a year ago), so I will just try my hardest and see how its gonna go, by God's grace. I probably won't be on the top rounds, but I think it will bor it. Right now, I just need to make sure I'm registered and starting the studies. Anyways, I would love to talk to you more and get to know you better. I think it's pretty amazing that you're family are missionaries to those native Alaskans and that you are doing memverse!!

That's great that you're doing Bible Bee! It's definitely not a waste of your time. ;) Not only is it studying God's word, but you also get to meet a ton of wonderful, likeminded Christians who love God and want only to please Him.
