Hmhh. :P Did you see that "Friday Night Family Night" thing? And I was reading through the rooms the things will be in and one said something like "Palm Tree Ballroom" and I was thinking Where on earth is that??? And then I remembered that it's in a different hotel this year. xP

I liked it a lot…and I was sad when they did away with it. I know why, it was too expensive, but I was still sad. I'll probably have gotten over my disappointment by this year's Nats, though. :P

I finally finished chapter 3!!!! xD (And I did like the last half in one day so I'm going to have it SO mixed up now :P)

Oh no! I am having so much trouble mixing the verses up. If I can get the first three chapters down well, it'll be an accomplishment. :P

Yeah, 1 is pretty easy. :) 2 is SO hard!

Yes!!! And three is medium xP Especially since 1-8 is already familiar for most people. :P For me, I can review it all the time but if I don't say it out loud I never get it down very well. :P

Haha! If I try writing out a verse I start daydreaming half way through and get it all so messed up xP Typing works a little bit better because I can keep up with myself more xP I do the same thing when I'm talking, but if I have my mom or someone listen to me they'll immediately tell me that I'm off track and that pulls me back into the real world… xP sigh

Yeah…… xP And then I'll start trying really hard not to get distracted and in the process I distract myself by thinking too hard about not being distracted… xP xP Oh, yay, that is comforting to know that I'm not alone! xP xP lol

xP That's good though that you know what you need to do to be able to concentrate well! How do you usually review verses during BB and when BB is over?

During BB, we have a quiz box. We separate them under the categories of Daily, Even or Odd, and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Daily has the ones that need to be reviewed most often, and Weekly has the ones that need to be reviewed least often. Even or Odd is in the middle, on the dates. Make sense? We really like it.

When BB is over, one word. Memverse. xP

Oh yes, I think Matthew was talking about how you do that once. That sounds like a great method! Do you recite to your parents? I should come up with a better system, but mine's basically like, if I can't say it very well it goes in one pile and I review that one first/more often and if I can say them fairly well then they go in another pile that gets reviewed when I have time. xP And for Nats I broke down the Gen, Ex and John passages into their own category. :P

xD Same here xD But this year my mom's had us recite the Local BB passages a little bit as well.

Oh, okay. :) We usually recite to each other, since we're both studying. That was a little harder last year though, 'cause Seniors and Juniors had different verses. Yeah, I pretty much did that in 2009. I like this method better, though. :)

Well, it might give those contestants who have siblings also at Nats a slight advantage. xP Although, there were cross-references in Matthew's and my verses that we each got to know by quizzing each other.

Yeah xP Oh, that's nice! The only thing I did for cross references was to look through the other divisions' verses. :P One reason I was glad to be in Sr was that I'd get all the verses…and then they changed it xP I didn't like watching semis and finals and not being able to quote along with the person reciting. xP xP
