I just finished all of James. It was a lot of fun, and I was really proud of myself when I said the whole thing in one setting. It was a great goal and has a lot of amazing verses that I had not memorized before. (James 4:17 was especially great). My next goal is 1 and 2 Peter.

Who else is planning on memorizing part or all of Malachi and/or James over the next few months?

I am thinking about it. James is being taught through at church, so probably. :)

I have chapter 1 also now. I have liked memorizing it, because it jumps from one subject to the next. Which can make it hard to remember what comes next, but James doesn't camp out on the same topic for 5 chapters like some apostles… clears throat :P

I learnt James, a great book to start with. I think it's short enough to keep going and not get discouraged. 2 years later and The Lord is still showing me truths from it.
