Christians and social media

I don't really know if this post belongs here or in the General section…but if anyone has a problem with it being here I'll delete it.

What is your opinion with Christians being on Social media such as Facebook and Twitter?

I personally do not like facebook or twitter. But some social media is fine. Fb and T can be okay if used in moderation.

It is according to the Merriam-Webster definition:

"forms of electronic communication (as Web sites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (as videos)"

I think they are fine as long as used in moderation and not for sinful purposes.

Facebook and Twitter is sometimes the best way for people to communicate…but not for me. :P There's just too much bad stuff on there.

Thanks to all the serious answers out there! I agree that sometimes FB and Twitter are OK if used for keeping in touch and useful things like that, but I am not going to use them. :)
