What is the difference between LORD in the Old Testament and Lord in the New? Discuss!

I think that in most translations, LORD is used for the Hebrew word YHWH. There actually are instances of Lord (only capital L) in the Old Testament. The original word in these cases is Adonai. In the New Testament Greek, there is only one word translated "Lord," so there is no need for all caps in the New Testament.
