Do you believe just the Holy Spirit? Or the Trinity dwell in the Christian?

"One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Eph. 4:6

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Gal. 2:20

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" John 14:6

I personally think it's somewhat naïve to think that only the Holy Spirit indwells a believer. (Especially in light of the verses you have quoted.) God is one, who has chosen to dwell in us. The work of sanctification is the particular work of the Holy Spirit, but God as a whole indwells us.

In John 14:10, Jesus says, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works."

Here we see that the Father is actually indwelling the human body of Christ! That sounds strange, but when we think about it, of course God as a whole would indwell this body - whose mission and person, however, belonged particularly to Christ.

The concept of a Trinity is unfathomable, and I don't pretend to wholly (or even slightly) understand it. :) But we know that the infinite God is one, and subsists in three personal agents, all simultaneously distinct and coequal. The primary distinction between these "subsistences" is their particular works. The Holy Spirit is the "Comforter", not the Father or Son. But we are indwelt the complete whole that is God.
