(I know where I lost six points on orals, but it's beyond me right now how I could have made half a mistake… or even what it was. I did not ask for prompts. Only thing that comes to mind is that maybe one judge heard the right thing and the other heard the wrong thing. :P)

I placed 14th. x) Just am thankful to God right now that I made it to Semis at all! I ended up finishing 10th after the challenge round. Courtney beat me at 8th (13th afterwards) - she did incredible!!

Guess what! My first year to play that game at nationals, 2013, we started out by playing with about that many people, in one game. The game went SO fast, and it was SO confusing, that we decided that it was best to play in small groups. But yeah, for the person who won, whoever it was, I'm sure it was fun. ;)

Oh, so much fun and so confusing! ^my face… facepalm^ I still want to know how I had to be the one to organize it all…but whatever… :P It was so much fun! :D

It seemed like you were around more than she was because of her being in the game show, so therefore:
Courtney (and Matthew, if he gets in the Game Show) is hereby declared forbidden to make it to the Semifinal Challenge Round next year by reason of time lost being with everyone else this year. xP JKJK! I'm glad you were able to make it that far. :D

I've wondered about that! I would assume yes… I don't know for sure though…

Alright, I just looked at the 2010 Highlights DVD, and it appears that Brittany did get 2nd (which is what I thought). There was a tie-breaker round in Finals between her and Anna Floyd (both of them were knocked out in the same round), but both of them quoted correctly in the tie-breaker, and Brittany apparently had the higher score.

I'll try to help straighten things out. :) After the tie-breaker round failed to break the tie, our places were supposed to be determined based on preliminary scores. As we later found out, we had exactly tied there as well, so they had to go back to local scores, where she had beaten me by 5 points. So Brittany should have received 2nd. Due to a mistake, however, Brittany was announced as 3rd and I was announced as 2nd at nationals. When SKF found out about the mistake, they asked us to switch trophies and also adjusted the Highlights DVD to reflect the accurate placements. I don't think Brittany appealed for the change.

So, Anna, I see you on the forums about once every 6 months…do you just keep any eye on things but rarely let your presence be known, or you just happen to get on whenever your name is mentioned? :)
