I'm kinda-sorta REALLY EXCITED about the Bible Bee.
So, I thought it might be fun to have a thread devoted to counting down to the various milestones in the Bible Bee season. Materials being released, local competition, Nationals, etc.
Feel free to count down by the seconds if you want! ;)

This way we can all vent our overabundant enthusiasm without getting the other threads off topic. :D

On Google Maps, I haven't been able to find much out about the area, so I'm not sure how much I like it yet. :D I'll be sure to do a little more research, though. :)

Wow! That's terrific!

What's funny is that prior to last year's Nationals and a conference I went to in 2002, both in Nashville, the only other TN spot at which I've ever stayed is Pigeon Forge, which is right down the road from Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains and Dollywood (if you're a Dolly Parton/country music fan).

It's a beautiful, rural part of the state, with great siteseeing opportunities and fun attractions. Reminds me a lot like Branson, MO.

In 2010, our family actually went to the location of the Bible Bee this year (Sevierville, TN) and went to an Answers in Genesis mega-conference in the very building that the Nationals events will be held! I had no idea when I was there! That's so cool!
