15 days till Locals! That's 2 weeks and 1 day, or approximately 360 hours :P

Wow! I can't believe it's so close already!!!
Yesterday we were working on putting all the name tags in the lanyards and the stickers behind them. My Mom also called the rest of our judges that volunteered to see if they could still come. I'm really excited! :)

Oh, I hope we're ready by then! I don't have butterflies yet, but I'm assuming I will when the day comes :)

I don't know if that is good or bad…about how little time left we have…do you feel prepared for Locals?

I feel prepared - in fact, I think I could be ready to take the test tomorrow. :) But that doesn't mean that I can't brush up on some things.

Tomorrow? Really? Good for you! I haven't had time to do any studying the last two days, so maybe that's why I'm feeling like I'm not ready. About 3 days ago though, I was talking to my mom and I was like "after I finish brushing up on everything, I don't know what else I would even study! It seems like I've covered everything" I hope that is the case :)

But, I'm glad it's still a week away!

I'm not as prepared as Matthew, but I do feel much more confident than I was last year. I definitely think I'm well-prepared for the oral round, and I think I could get through it almost perfectly if it were tomorrow. But I do think I need to do more studying before I could be ready for the written test.

Pretty much same here. I could probably get through orals with little to no problem, but there's still a lot of things I want to do before the written test!!

About 6 days till Locals! Can't believe it's this close. I'm trying not to think about it to much this evening, because I get really nervous when I do, (and I had some ice cream this evening, which made my stomach feel even worse :P) Sugar and nervousness don't go good together for me, at all!

Hehe. :) We are working on getting everything ready for Saturday! I am sooooo excited!!! (yeah, I can't think of any cool words to say how excited I am, so I guess "sooooo" works… :)

Absolutely! Though, I'm trying not to think about locals to much…if I do I get tons of butterflies, and my hands shake really bad.

Actually, since I was really young…my hand always shake. But it happens even worse when I'm nervous…

Hope everyone is prepared! I'd better get really busy, because when the "extreme nervousness and excitement" feeling sets in, I won't get much done :D

I can't believe the Locals is tomorrow!!!

Locals will be over in about 24 hours. My, this summer sure has gone by quickly! Courtney keeps telling me, "The Locals is NOT tomorrow. I'm dreaming." And then I asked her if she'd let me pinch her to make sure, but she didn't want me to. :P

BTW, Bethany, thank you for your letter! We received it yesterday. We wish the same to you and your family. :)

That's funny…same thing with me and my younger brother, David! He was telling me while he was doing his laundry, that he couldn't believe it was tomorrow, and that just a few days ago it was June 1st. I asked him if he wanted me to pinch him, and he firmly told me "No! Don't you dare!"

Um…I have finished it!! : D I'm laying down before the quiz now ;) so….good night ( I mean, afternoon ) see you at the quiz, right?

Yeah I know it kind of looks ridiculous, but that is how I felt then, and even more now! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!
