As I said, sorry if I'm being the bad guy here, but I don't think it's wrong for a group of friends to get to know each other better.

Oh, you're not! Actually, I feel like I am since I'm saying stuff that no one really likes :P. And I don't think that it's bad for friends to get to know each other :). It's just that I know what it's like to be the one that doesn't know anyone and feels lonely, and I know what a difference it makes when people include you. Sorry if it feels like I'm being mean; I'm just trying to be nice to first-timers and the lonely.

No, I completely understand where you're coming from, I've been there myself! My thought though, is why can't we 'hang out' with everyone at the CFN for a while, and then break of into our meeting? That way we wouldn't be ignoring everyone, but we would still be able to have our groups' meeting.

Of course not! :D I'm not at all mad at anyone, so if I don't speak to any of you at Nationals, it's because I'm shy, not because I'm mad at y'all :). Thanks for y'all's (y'all's is not a word, but I'm using it anyway :)) understanding in this! I'm just trying to live out Matthew 7:12 (and I won't post it on here since most of you aren't ESV-ers :)).

Now we're going in circles :). Now that I know that everything is in the same room, I feel a lot better about it. So, I think that I'm okay with it :). What I was worried about was our cliquish group going off to a room and having fun, while we leave everyone else at the CFN to be lonely :). But, I think that this is all resolved now :).

Any idea where we should have the sign up form for the private photo sharing page so everyone gets a chance to sign it? I have forms printed out to bring to the meeting. (And yes, the page is all set up and ready to go ~I think~.)

I know exactly what you're saying, Anna. :) And thanks so much for the reminder to be friendly and welcoming with everyone! It's really easy to just talk to people you know, and people who are outgoing, and forget about reaching out to people who are quieter and shy. Especially this year it seems like there's going to be a lot of brand new nats people, and we should all purposely be making a point to reach out to those people.
And I know none of that was on the topic of the meetings. xD

Next weekend I will be sending out the Memverse News Letter. I would like to report on the Memverse Meeting at Nationals. If someone could kindly give me the basic overview of all that happens I would much appreciate it! :)

@Everyone: Our poster is not big. I estimate we have about 200 square inches of space for signatures on the front side (we could go to the back if we have to, but that would not be preferable). If we get 200 signatures then that leaves about 1 sq. in. for each one. That's probably enough, but just barely. So sign small. ;)
