Here we ask questions about the Bible bee :)

I have one: does anyone know if they will have the smaller amount of verses before locals again, or will they have a bigger amount like in previous years?

I believe it's going to be a small amount… I read an article where Mr. Widdoes said they liked the 2012 format because the participants grew by 20%…

I don't know, but I hope it's the same as last year… that seemed to work pretty well!

Do we have to wear our BB t-shirts to locals? :) and r they going to be red again?

You have to wear your BB t-shirts to locals. The senior shirts are red, the junior shirts are blue and the primary shirts are yellow

It's not a requirement, you can wear them if you like or you can wear something else - some bees may require you to wear them though.

No, but some bees may want you to.

I know that everyone at our bee always has us wear our Bible Bee t-shirts. Even if it wasn't required I would still wear it :D

Last time I didn't wear my shirt but I wore my button :)

Ashley - I'm not sure if you may answer this question or not, but I'm wondering… will the amount of verses for Nationals this year be about the same as last years amount? Thanks!

I already broke the trend! At our BB, on the day of the competition( where we did the written and oral tests), I wore my Green Lantern(or maybe my NES controller) T-shirt, and my 1-Up Mushroom hat!

@All: How many people have signed up for your local bee? 26 people have signed up for our local bee.

15! And as of now I know 6 of them, including myself :)

Type in your zip code. Then it will show the top ten. It will help you find out look on all the sections on the grid.

@Nicolas: Go to biblebee.org and click on, "find a host near you" and then if you scroll down, right above the map there is a box that says "Enter your zip code to find the local event closet to you."

I found out that I actually know 7 of the 15 at our bee! :) 4 of them (including me) are all Seniors!!!!!

I don't know who has signed up at our local bee or how many seniors there are. One of the things I don't like about being a senior is that we have to do orals first at our local bee and we haven't take the test with the primaries :(

I agree. Week 5, day 2 was a bit confusing. As long as you understand meno and understand it's different uses in 1 John, I guess your good. :)

Has anyone checked the verses on here against the Bible Bee cards and bibles?

Hi Dani! Um, I know I've had problems with some of the verses on here saying something like "shew" while the Bible Bee cards said "show", and you can just ask them to fix that under feedback.

Whoops sorry Ashley. :) we were wondering about week 5 day 2, how the blanks where suppost to be filled in, like was it either a person or something or both? :) thx :)
