Who made it to Nationals :)?

The "adjustments" might be from other contestants who aren't allowed to go on the same level. For instance, Ashley M. made it to Nationals, but she's not allowed to compete in the same competition. Maybe once they make the adjustments, then other people are invited.

Why can't Ashley M. go?

Because her family helps put together each year's Bible Bee, and because of that she is in "Limited Eligibility" which allows her to compete at Locals and Nationals, but not in Semis or Finals. I think I'm getting that right….?

@Hannah: I've thought about that too, but I don't think that any of the Juniors ranking lower than 120 have been invited. Plus, I'm not even sure that Ashley made it after all, since the contestant ID that she gave us was in the 400s. I'm really confused…

Okay, so Headquarters sent out an email clarifying how we should say the references spanning multiple chapters - it's just what we were thinking. It's also on the FAQ page. I'm glad that's cleared up.

Oh, okay. Whatever…I guess I have no idea, then. :) Maybe there was a mistake at some Bee or something, and they decided to let other people in, JIC :)

I MADE IT!!!!!! ALL glory to God, I got third place in Juniors!! PTL!!! (But I have no idea how that happened)

Uh…I can't find anyplace on biblebee.org that tells me who all made it. I'm hoping to go to Nationals, even though I'm not in BB, so I's like to know who from Memverse I'll be able to meet!

Go to biblebee.org. Then there are four colorful buttons. Click on the one that's right besides "Local Scores Posted" then it'll take you to a page and at the top it has lots of colorful tabs. Click on the one that says something about National Competitors. It takes you automatically to the senior page but if you scroll down just a little bit you will see where you can click to go to the junior and primary pages. Hope that makes sense.

@Rachel: I think that for some reason that link does not work if you copy and paste it into your browser's link bar. You have to get there by going to the home page, then clicking on the green tab saying "2013 Nationals - Everyone's Invited". Then on that page, there is a yellowish-brown button saying "National Competitors". That tab will take you to the correct page.

Oh, BTW, Abi, there is a list of Memverse National qualifiers on page 10 of this topic if you're interested in the ones from Memverse especially.

Alright. How's your studying going?

Not much really changed since last night, :) but it's going well. I'm working on finishing up Romans 4:13-5:8. I haven't done my Sword Study yet today - I guess I probably need to do that soon.

I think there were about 40-50 contestants who competed. 8 of them qualified for nationals.

Now this is odd…someone who placed 63 in the Seniors, I searched to see if their city/state was on the qualifiers list…and it isn't. Huh. Anyone know why??

@Rachel - There were 15 dropout Seniors this year, and that person must have been one of them. The deadline for signup was Wednesday, and after that they removed the qualifiers who were not signed up from the list.

I placed 63! Now you have me worried.
