Being Printed :)

Has your material ever been printed in a magazine? Has your name or picture ever been printed in a newspaper? Talk about it here!

I have been printed twice in the Nature Friend Magazine, both for a You Can Draw. The first tie, I drew a pronghorn, and the second time, I drew a white-tailed fawn. I'm about to send in a whole bunch more drawings and poems, so I hope I get printed again!

Also, my picture happened to be in the newspaper once. :)

I was in the newspaper for the spelling bee once…I think several of us kids were in there for something else too, but I can't remember what at the moment.

I've gotten a couple articles published in the King's Blooming Rose and in Far Above Rubies.

And we…my family…was also in the 2013 bb video for just a bit…

I had a drawing once in nature Friend For You Can Draw, and an article, letter, and picture published in KBR. I think that's all.

I've had things published in Family Farm and Farm Talk as well as Express Yourself(friend's e-magazines).

You had some articles published in Far Above Rubies? Which ones, and when? I don't remember seeing them.

I was in the county newspaper in 2009 for the BB…I still have a copy of that. :) I had a drawing of mine in Nature Friend magazine once a long time ago…totally random, as it wasn't that good. :P Hmm, I had two articles published in King's Blooming Rose. I can't remember anything else. ;)

Has anyone been on the radio?

I've been on North Pole TV and in the newspaper for the track and field games up in Fairbanks. (They were taking random pictures of the spectators and ours happened to end up in the newspaper.)

Dad, Dani and I were on North Pole TV to advertise the Bible Bee in 2010.

I was in Nature Friend, too. I drew a picture of a sunflower for one issue.

I wrote a story six years ago about a trip to Australia that got published in Clubhouse Jr. I've also had a drawing in Nature Friend, and my name was in a Minnesota Christian newspaper back in 2009 because I made it to Bible Bee Nationals.
Oh, and I was on TV briefly once when the news was doing a report on the MACHE (Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators) conference about three years ago. I wasn't talking or anything, but we happened to be in the same room as the reporters when they were filming. I had to pass them, so I tried ducking and sneaking behind the reporter so I wouldn't be seen… didn't work. They also managed to catch on film my dad wearing Bethany's bright pink "Princess" backpack. :-D

I submitted a riddle to Captain's Club on BBN radio, and they asked the Captain it :D He was stumped!

I once had an article about the National Bible Bee posted in Bible Advocate Magazine. It's published by Church of God (Seventh Day), and my great-uncle is the editor! (He was actually here visiting today!)

I don't think I was in a catalog. I think my picture was actually in the store. Like those big pictures of babies that you sometimes see near where they take baby pictures. Of course that was like 16 years ago. :P

Probably closer to 16. It's highly unlikely that JcPenney would put up a picture of a baby the day he/she was born. :-)

I've been on TV before. We went to this YMCA Homeschool Sports program, and apparently, ours was the first one or something, because on the first day there were all these TV people.

Oh!! The back of my head and shoulders were in a video clip about 2012 Nationals XD

I've been on tv a few times when I had a masterclass with Lang Lang on the piano at the Opera House.

Now THAT is cool!!! I've played on a piano that has had lots of famous pianists play on it, including Lang Lang. How old were you?

That was 3 years ago I think. Because I was 13 at the time. Wow! Was the piano a Steinway? :)

We were pretty much in Sydney the whole time, because my dad's family lives there.

Oh ok :) We live around 4-5 hours from Sydney. We used to go there a lot for music lessons but more recently God has blessed us with some really amazing teachers closer to us.

Wow, I just had a look at our clubhouse jr collection and they are all from like pre 2005. haha I don't think we have that one :D. I didn't realize it was so long ago when we got them. We even have some that date back to 1996! Before I was born :D.
