I have only ever used Windows personally (and Mac impersonally at a library).

Even though PCs are awesomely hackifiable, Macs are known as some of the best computers on the market! And, they are made by the awesome folks who gave the world the iPod and iPhone….

Well I have an I pod nano so do my dad and sister . My mom has an ipad, my sister has a nook and me and my dad both have playbooks.

Macs are just as easy to hack as a PC, yet hackers don't go after them because they take up, what, 10 percent of the computer market? Plus, since Mac has so few computers out there compared to PC, they run scans and block up holes like everyday. (By the way they are using that extra thousand dollars they charged you for your computer to pay the people who run those scans :D)

I love the fact that everything that Apple does gets ripped off by other people. Mac invented the desktop computer, they invented the laptop, they invented the smartphone, they invented putting a computer inside of a monitor and calling it the IMac, they perfected the handheld GPS(yes there is one in your iphone and ipod touch… :D), they invented the tablet, they recently came out with the perfected mini tablet, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're are about to unleash their next innovative gift to mankind destined to be stolen and made cheaper by other companies. Steve Jobs was truly a giant and Bill Gates stood on his shoulders to become the rich man he is. Long live Apple!

Almost agreed bro! But the PC was the more…….economical alternative for a computer when both came out. But, some things are original, like the Google Glass. I personally would like to see what Apple does in response to it. Maybe an Apple Glass? iGlass?

Enlighten me bro. What's the Google Glass? OK nvm I went and saw on the Social Chatting forum. I don't think Apple will see any business in making glasses like those. That's not Apple's area. What I think they will do is make a glass panel that is touch sensitive, so it will be like a computer, just on your table or something. That would be so epic! :D

@all- i have a PC and all it does is get error messages, take 22 hours to load half of a page, make our iTunes Store stop working, take forever to load the next page, say the page isn't responding, say the page does not exist, and shut down by itself at random times when no one is touching it. Both my older bros have macs and they do none of that. In fact if I spend 5 minutes on a Mac I notice a complete difference!!!!!

Maybe its because you only spent 5 minutes on the Mac? :) Like Sam said how old is your PC? What kinda processor you got and how much RAM? You might want to consider upgrading…You can't play basically any awesome computer games on a Mac! Think about that you hardcore gamers out there! :D

Really? Did you buy it new, or used? And, was it refurbished? The processor could be the problem. If you have a Pentium processor, then that definitely could be the problem!

We bought it new. It's a laptop. :)

Ah, everything makes sense now. You won't get a really good laptop that can compare to a Mac unless you spend somewhere north of $600. Laptops have never been known to be as durable and reliant as a desktop(except for Macbooks, but that's because they cost almost $2000!) For half the price of a MacBook, you can get a PC with the same hardware. Just saying

Well i'm glad he got it on sale but man! $1,000! For $700 you could get a toshiba or dell or hp or something with greater power, an insane amount of RAM and have $300 more dollars!

It has all kinds of extra awesome stuff 2 like iMovie and some other awesome stuff.

cool sounds like fun. I have to admit, the IPad and IPad Mini are far superior to their android brethren. I think its a tie concerning the IPhone and android smartphones such as the Galaxy SIII and Note II. For those, it really depends on what operating system you personally prefer. By the way, I think this whole debate is purely subjective.

No way about the android. My phone is an android smartphone and I like iPhones waaaayyyy better. And my dad has the galaxy player and it dosn't compare to the iPod touch at all!
