So do any of you have Windows 8? It's the newest windows, I guess…anyway, I have it…I have mixed opinions on it. I mean, it's kind of cool because it's really easy to multi-task. But it's also really touchy :)

Does it do what u tell it to do? And does it load pages in less that 10 seconds? If so it's pretty awesome!

I've seen it, and have friends who have it. It's pretty cool, but to me it seems more like an answer to the App thing going on with Apple.

Windows is going after this whole user-friendly interface and its getting kind of annoying. I discovered the other day when I was trying to get a cheaper copy of microsoft office 2010 since Office 2013 came out, that Microsoft is introducing a subscription-based microsoft office platform requiring you to pay for using Word and PowerPoint etc. Its called Microsoft 365 I believe. The 365 actually stands for how many minutes you get for purchasing a full subscription. :D

Well I have a 3 year warentee I think so I would get a new one but I have dropped in from like 4ft onto solid concrete floor. So it's pretty durable.

Does it load pages in less than 10 seconds? Uh, sometimes :) other times, I feel like tossing the whole thing out the window :D sometimes it's really fast, but it also gets into moods where it won't do anything at all. ;) Basically, it's cool, but if you already have Windows 7 it's not worth buying Windows 8. Basically the huge difference is the app page. They got rid of the Start button, and the app page basically replaces that, and you go wherever you need to from there.

I have 2 kittens/cats :) one is striped (Eowyn) and the other is black and white (Arwen) :) (if you are familiar with LOTR u will recognize the names :) lol) they had 2 brothers that our friends kept and we joked that they should have named them Sam and Frodo or Boromir and Faramir, cause one was bigger than the other. :)
