Favorite Foods

Even me, who REALLY, REALLY likes spicy food, couldn't eat much :D

Sure… my least favorite meal EVER! Yuck!!

Hey! Guess what, we finished a lot more chili. We added some soup and corn to it (we're really good at mixing left-overs together to make them test better). Though, even with more stuff added, it still sets your mouth on fire! Put the chili on a biscuit and spread it with yogurt and cheese and it makes a very nice meal :D

No, it's a wonderful way of making your chili better! But, I still like our old chili better…with rice, crackers, cheese and yogurt.

You know though, if you ate more hot foods, you would build up to it. When we first started getting salsa, it burnt my mouth and I could hardly eat it. Since I eat it so much now, it's just like peppers and tomatoes in sauce. It's not hot at all, and SO good that I could eat it out of the jar :D

Why not? If you did, you could eat so many more wonderful foods (and tasty ones at that). Mexican is the best!

I guess that we'll have to agree to disagree. I can't seem to persuade you, and you can't seem to persuade me. Maybe one day you'll see though…and if that day ever comes, you'll wish you'd learned sooner :)

Yeah, getting used to spicy foods is a Nigerian thing too. Like, whenever we bought Chinese food, we always made sure the rice is spicy, and now, I barely even feel it!

Ah, Chinese food. Another food I don't like… Can you tell I'm rather picky? :P

Yup! It's fun! Though, there was one time that it was NOT fun at all. We had gone out to eat with 3 other families (about 40 people in all) and had ordered our enchiladas. I had never been to that restaurant before, and didn't know what expect. Once I got my food, I promptly ate the jalapeno pepper on top! It just about sent me through the roof…it totally burned my mouth and it hurt badly for the next several days. I'm never doing that again! And you know what? Since the workers had some many people to serve, we hardly got any more water…I just about died from that experience (okay, not quite :D)

Jalapenos are good! I've had jalapeno slices on nachos before! Delicious!

HAHA!!!! :P - nah, it's ALMOST as good as mom's homemade potato soup…..

Ahh….homemade pizza! I want some of that, once I get off this liquid diet. You can't imagine how torturous it is smelling all the good food that my family makes during the day, and I can't have any of it. And now, y'all are talking about pizza (my mouth is really watering right now, seriously :D)
