Hair :)

I'm debating whether to cut my hair to shoulder length... ^I would cut it shorter but my mom won't let me... ;p^ Anyways, should I? or should i just leave it?

Yeah i'm afraid that after i cut it, if i do, i'll regret it. My mom really wants me to leave it.... i just get so irritated with my hair sometimes... especially if i'm working out or trying to get it inside a swim cap. ;) idk

So any of you gals have any crazy hair stories?

One time, my friend told me about this way you can curl your hair with socks, but before getting the details on how to do it, she left.
I thought I knew enough to do it, so a couple nights later, I tried it.

So apparently, you aren't supposed to put sopping wet hair into the sock, but slightly damp hair.
And your also supposed to wrap the hair around the sock and not shove it in.
You also aren't supposed to use a thousand rubber bands to bunch it up next to your head but tie it with the sock.

It was the most uncomfortable night of my life.
The next morning my hair was still wet, I was majorly tired from not being able to get comfortable, and it wasn't curly at all, but a wet, messy, tangled mess.

My friend thought it was the funniest thing in the world when I told her about it and how I spent two hours trying to figure it out on my own! Not the smartest thing I've ever done…..
Later she helped me do it right and it turned out wonderful.
But my sister took a video of me running away and hiding with my "rabbit ears".
My friend says that's going in my wedding video someday.

Well my friend said once she had grown out her hair to her waist but then she burned it on a heater and they had to cut off like a foot…

And one time I tried to curl my hair with a comb and it got so tangled up that my mom seriously had to cut the comb out of my hair… XP

I made a new friend! This 8 year old girl came up to me well I was sitting at a table and put her arm around me and said, "Did you know your hair is red?" I turned and looked into the green eyes, freckled face of a girl with red hair too! It was so much fun! We threw the ball, and went bear hunting, and built a fire….. :)
I am beginning to think that all red heads have a very special language only we can understand.

I got like interesting coloured hair… It's mostly a light brown, but parts of it is darker than the others, and I even have this certain part that's like almost white. it's kinda cool. :p It even shines when i'm in the light. :p :p

Haha! My hair is kind of ombre… It's very dark blonde at the top, but keeps getting lighter as it goes down until it's almost white at the ends. :-)

I love bangs! :D I've had mine ever since I was less than 1 year old. Always had them, always will, as far as I plan. :)

My hair is dark brown on the top, but gets a little lighter as it goes down. I have some red highlights that show up in the winter sunrise.

I hate bangs! I plan on never having them again… I can't stand hair on my forehead! :P

My hair is blonde the whole way but has tons of brownish highlights… almost looks like I dyed it striped or something. :P

lol I have like side-bangs… They go down to my nose and get in my eyes all the time. ;P I don't mind them. :p ;)

I apologize, I just discovered this buried topic, and had to resurrect it because my inner hair ninja demanded it of me… I love hair, and personally like medium to long hair on girls, and I am not going to touch on guys hair lengths because everyone has a different mental picture of what long and short are with that. I do not dye my hair or have bangs, I do have some layers, and I put some natural things in it to keep it blonde during the dark winter months… But I will stop for now or I will never stop… I absolutely love rambling on about hair ;-p

I'm hoping to grow my bangs out and do long layers and side bangs. I love my bangs, but want to keep experimenting with different styles.

Sooo… I don't have a staightener because my hair is naturally straight. I have to braid it while I sleep though otherwise it will get really tangled. When I take it down during the day, it looks really weird because the ends are straight but the rest is wavy. The thing is, the waves stay in even after I wash it. Does anyone know a way to straighten it without a straightener?

Do you know how to do a high bun that will stay in all night? My hair is too long for those magical bun makers. xD

A high bun that I often do for bed is twist the hair into a bun, and then put a ponytail holder over the bottom of it (holding the ends in).
