Day One of Lemonade cleanse:

Feel good, except a little bit upset about leaving our friends house. Of course, I didn't drink salt water this morning- that comes in tomorrow.

Day Two:

OK, that salt water was gross. But I'm trying to finish all my lemonade today. We went to a harvest party tonight, and the chili looked really good.

Day Three:

Today has started bad… I didn't get my salt water till 10:30 this morning, and it's 1:30, and I just started making my first batch of lemonade!

Well considering that there are more than 7 billion people on the earth I don't know you would feel alone………..

I'm kind of a health freak, but only because my mom is very interested in natural stuff.
The craziest thing I've done is when I was really little and had a fever; my mom put egg yokes or something like that on my feet! It was really weird and didn't help. The second craziest thing is eating raw garlic when I'm sick, because garlic is supposed to be a natural antibiotic. This time, though, it actually really helped my fever! :P

"You should try putting garlic oil on your feet when you have a cold- it helps!"

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm………….would you mind explaining HOW that helps??????????

I don't know a whole lot about that…but I know people do put stuff on their feet to help with….something.

I have done that. I've had it when I get a sore throat, and it does help. But other than that, I am totally NOT a health freak!

I don't have much sugar, though - I don't know if that counts. Just because I don't like it much anymore.

2 Corinthians 5:17

It gets absorbed into the bloodstream faster that way.

Yes…I've put garlic on my feet before too. And ditto to Dani, that's why :)

If you have an ear ache, cut an onion in half, and warm the flat side up a bit on the stove. Then place it on your ear…it really helps! I'm not joking! :)

If you have pink-eye or something like that in your eyes, it helps if you take 2 camomile tea bags, put hot water on them, let them sit a few minutes, and either use them right away or if you'd like them cold put them in the fridge a bit. When you use them, lay down, and set them on your eyes. :)

Yes, I guess you could say I'm a bit of a health nut :) We like using herbs and natural things. :)

How do you do your lemonade cleanse, Dani? I would like to do one. Matthew and Brianna have done one before because of sickness, but I can't remember the last time I was sick. (Which is good, I suppose) :-)

Tuesdays are my fast days - it is hard to go with nothing but water, so I usually do a milk fast. I should try a kefir fast, because of the healthy fermentation.

If you have an ear ache, make a mixture of olive oil and minced garlic, and then when you go to bed put it in your ear with a cotton ball to keep it in.

If your eyes hurt, put honey in them. It really does help! It will sting quite a bit, but it helps a lot in the long run.

Essential oils are great for things like that too.

That's neat! :) Kind of sounds like a sticky business with the honey in your eyes, though! :)

If you have a headache, take a few drops of olive oil and a few drops of peppermint oil, mix them together, and rub onto your forehead/back of neck. That sometimes helps me, it depends on the headache. :)

Yes, we use peppermint oil for headaches too.

I suppose so, although if you warmed the honey a bit so the crystals would dissolve, it wouldn't be so bad. :-)

If you want to get schoolwork done when you have ADHD like I do use brain power, a oil mix done by young living.

We use a lot of essential oils too! My mom usually mixes them up in olive oil. I tried using peppermint oil for a headache once when we didn't have any pre-mixed, and the peppermint smell was so strong that it actually made my headache worse.
A lot of times when I have essential oils on while we're out of the house, people will randomly tell me that I smell really good. :-)

It also helps to use colloidal silver drops. It's kind of easy to make it. (Kind of)

We do the lemonade, and then in the evening we take a laxative tea, like yellow dock, and in the morning we drink 2 teaspoons of salt in 3 cups of water. We do it for 10 days, then do a fruit juice for a day, vegetable broth the next day, and meat broth the day after that. After that we just eat normally again.

@Madi, I've bathed in oatmeal, too!

Caffeine also helps ADHD people calm down. After friends of ours told us about that, Mom forced me to drink coffee once when I was having a really bad day. It was gross, but when we got home, I crashed and slept for a couple hours. I woke up feeling fine!

When I had the chicken pox and four other of my siblings had it as well they all bathed in oatmeal. But I simply would not…it sounded way to disgusting!

You can also put on the pox burdock leaves that have been dehydrated, and then rehydrated- it helps stop the itch!

I never have had chicken pox. My siblings all had it, and I sleep with Christa, who had the worst case of it.

Yeah! Even though I was itching so bad and they all said that it worked really good I still couldn't do it!!
@Dani: Seriously??? You've never had chicken pox?

@Carissa–I've had chicken pox once when I was really little, but don't remember it.

@Danistill can't imagine being convinced to *bathe in *oatmeal** :P

@Dani: I don't think I agree with you! I saw the water and oatmeal while my mom was getting it ready for my sister and it looked SOOOOOOO gross!
@Nicolas: Okay. I wish I couldn't remember it but I do :) I was stuck at home for six weeks!!!
