I don't have a horse, and I don't really ride very much (tears, sniffing, crying jk :)). But today we went over to one of our friends house, and they let me ride one of their horses. They ride sidesaddle!!! It's WAY more comfortable than it looks. :) And you can't really fall off. I'd only ridden on a western saddle before, so western sidesaddle was pretty neat. :)

Not me. I couldn't care less if we have a horse or not. :P Well, actually, I wouldn't have a very fun time cleaning up after it… So I think I'm better off without a horse. :P

I think I would have to agree. It may be fun at first, but I think it would get old quickly and I would NOT like cleaning up after it.

It's like a horse… only different… a horse you always in the past, and always in the future will want.
Mine is a Black Arabian Stallion, whose only marking is a star in the middle of his fore head.
(Please excuse my not remembering what the correct name for a horses for head. I don't have a major in horses… yet. :P )

My dream horse is a beautiful chestnut color with a white blaze. oh…and maybe a sock or two.. "She" is calm and gentle but can run like the wind! :)

That is exactly what my "dream horse" used to be.

Um… one that has four legs, a mane and tail. :) My "dream horse" is more of a dream to have a horse. :) But, if I could choose ANY horse I wanted, mine would probably be kind of like yours, Rebekah, except a Mustang. Spirited, but also gentle.

That's definitely a big part of it! It might be fun for a while to ride it, but not fun enough for me. If you haven't noticed yet, loving horses is usually a girl thing. :) And I'm not a girl. :P

Is it okay to have two dream horses? I'd take a buckskin stallion and a palomino mare. Prefferably no markings on the buckskin (not including the given black legs), and maybe a white star on the palomino.

I wouldn't mind cleaning up after it anyhow… it would be worth it to be able to ride it.
Though it would be expensive to feed it.
( that is my only worry)

not meaning to discourage you…but they need a lot more than food. :) Like a fence, (if you want to contain it) and tack, and grooming material, and special vitamins, and vet bills and…well you get my point :)

I have two Clidestail horses, but you can't really ride them, you can sit on its back and walk around (only one of the horses can do that)! I have to feed them morning and night just so they can sit around and do nothing! But we are going to get rid of them and the get horses that are broke so we can ride them! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! :):):):):)

My dream buckskin stallion is of mixed breed. He'll only let me ride him (that sounds kind of selfish, I know), but is the fastest horse alive. He's only half-gentled, so he's a bit of a challenge. I love animal challenges.

EDIT: Oooooh! And I did get to gallop the last time!!!! But someone was holding the lead rope. But still…:)

The last time I went riding was 2 years ago, for about an hour. Before that was another year, at least, for about one more hour. :-(

Well, it was as fast as I had ever gone on a horse before, so yes:) But I might change my mind if I ever get to gallop by myself:):) It was sooo much fun.
