Can you guys please pray for my sister? We just dropped her off at college today, and she seemed really nervous and kinda stressed. Please pray that she does not become stressed out and that this first year for her might be really good. Please pray for us also as a family that we will be fine without her. Thanks!

She liked a thing on mom's Facebook account, so we know that she is alive at least. :) Her weekend was really busy, so she doesn't have a whole lot of time to contact us.

Thank you all for praying for us. We picked up our new Suburban from the dealership on Friday morning. We did have to move a shelf to fit it into our garage, but at least it runs, right?

And while I'm at it, I might as well give you something else to pray about. :-) My dad, my sister, and I are helping out today with something at our church called Families Moving Forward. Basically, we'll be turning the classrooms on the lower level of the church into bedrooms so that four homeless families can stay in them for a week. Please pray that everything would go well, and that we would be a blessing to these families.

this forum is really inactive. Well not anymore. I have had to take Motrin four times in the past 3 days, twice for a headache and twice for a backache, so if you could pray for me that would be great.

One man put on a new pair of shoes that morning and took the various means to get to work, but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.

That's why he's alive today…

Hey everybody…I'm going in to take the knowledge test and apply for a driver's license. It's a complicated process, but I'm not too nervous about this step. I've taken the knowledge test several years ago and I'm really prepared for it this time. The part I'm super nervous about is the actual road test. I'll probably take this sometime next week. Please pray that God would give me a clear mind so I can think clearly and remember how to drive! (It's been 3 months since my permit expired!)

There r a lot of people I know right now (including myself) who have this consistent nagging cough. And the people I know who went to the doctors were told it was allergies. : /

Don't worry Madi, you'll do fine. just make sure when they say "turn left" you don't turn right, and try not to run over anyone or run red lights, and if you can avoid the curb that helps. Make sure all your lights and signals work before taking it, and don't give the instructor whiplash.

Thanks Sarah. ;) I'm just taking it at the Port Orchard 911 driving school. Testing centers don't offer testing anymore. :(

Please pray for our whole family!
We just got appointed to missionaries in AK, so we are down in the Lower 48 raising financial support. We've lived in AK for 6 years, and have a house that we built off the grid (no running water or electricity…except for a small generator), and no one is living in it right now. Last winter there were some people in there to keep it from freezing, but this winter there is only an oil drip stove to keep it from freezing. Please pray that we would be able to get home soon, and that the house will be all right.

Oh, and we have a piano, violin, guitar, ect. in the house, so that's why the stove is in there: to keep them from freezing.

Oh, and we're really worn out; living out of our car since October 30, 2012.

I was talking about the road test. The DOL doesn't offer the written test anymore?

Yeah, they don't offer any kind of testing at all. It's real bummer because now you basically have to pay twice for your license. One fee for knowledge test, one for driving, an application fee, and a licensing fee. :-/

That happened to me when I had whooping cough. We were actually out of state visiting family, and I was having pretty bad whooping cough symptoms. At one point it was so bad that I had to go to the ER, and the doctor there told us that I was allergic to the cat at the house we were staying at. It wasn't until we got home and sent to see our usual doctor that we found out it was whooping cough.

Is that you in the driver's seat? :)

lol. No, I am actually in the farthest seat from the driver's seat (almost) in our van. :P I haven't driven since June. :(
