Really!? That's awesome! How'd you hear about it? :)

I just saw a baby copperhead snake in the front of our house! I almost stepped on it, but earlier, a caterpillar had started to climb up my leg so I had thrown it off right were the snake was. I only looked at the ground because I wanted to see if the caterpillar was still there. Praise God that I did look!

So sad to hear that those who don't make it in your family really probably aren't going to be attending nationals. I was bemoaning that fact to my family this morning at breakfast, and Amy replied and said "You could start a weekly appeals process to Mr. Alexander to get him to change his mind. Just write him a note every week, and maybe by the time of nationals he'll realize how much everyone has to be there, and he'll let them all come!" If only that worked...

Lol, if only.. =P Really, though, things haven't changed. It's always only those who have qualified that get to go. One time Rosie got to go when she didn't qualify in 2012. But I don't foresee that happening again. If I came, not only would Dad lose the help at work (which is needed, since he'll be gone), but he'd be paying for an extra person at the hotel. So it's really just not the wisest thing to do. =/

It sounds more like the way biblical authors write: "And Jesus answered and said," "Then Job replied and said," etc. =P

Well, you'll only see us twice this summer, regardless… Nats is in the fall. ;) But yeah, I know what you mean. There's always Skype, though! I think we'll just have to set up a Skype call of some sort while you guys are at Nats. =)

I wouldn't have noticed. =P But it is true that most people would have said, "And Amy replied" or "And Amy said," not "And Amy replied and said." That's almost like saying, "And Amy answered and replied." It's redundant. ;)

I was soooooo excited I literally starting jumping up and down! More excited than when I found out I qualified for Nationals!

Skype would definitely be fun, but it isn't the same as seeing you guys in person. You can't stay up till 1 in the morning playing a big game of Speed or Pounce or any games at all!
