Wow, I guess so!

Makes my first post in February.

Happy first day of February.

This year is really flying by faster than I thought!!!

Yikes! Time is going at a world record pace right now. O.O

Can we outrun it? That is the question. Or can we just make the best use of our time.

I haven't heard of people getting younger, so I doubt we can outrun it. Better start making the best use of your time.

I think I'll just keep pace with it. I think it can keep up with me.

realizes this is the first post I've made on here Happy February! Enjoy the shortest month of the year! :P

February activity: We don't usually celebrate Valentines Day, but this year we're doing something called the Secret Sibling Month, or, Love Month. Each of us has a bag with our name written on it, and the 8 oldest of us were randomly assigned a Secret Sibling. We have to put something, even if it's very small, into their bag at least every other day. And nobody (is supposed to) knows who is giving them things. Only 8 of us were assigned someone to give things too, but Taylor, Jubilee, Gideon, Mama, Daddy, Grandma, and Papa Doug (my grandpa, he's coming from Oklahoma to stay 5 days with us starting Thursday) all have bags with their names on them too:) It's been fun so far - we're doing it the whole month of February - though some people aren't very good at keeping secrets, and some people are just good guessers, so I think by the end of the month a lot of us will probably be able to guess who's giving us things; but it's still really fun. =)

So what's the weather like where everyone is? Spring is pretty much here, in Texas. It's 80 degrees right now. :) But I'm curious how long winter hangs around in other places?

@katie: Cold. Quite cold. Standing at the bus stop this morning was not fun. There wasn't much wind, but the air made it through my coat anyway.

Our school was canceled this whole week, because of snow. It was awesome!!!

BTW, Happy Valentine's day. Does anybody even celebrate that here?

Today my sister got her wisdom teeth pulled out. She looks pretty funny. :)

Ooh, getting wisdom teeth pulled is a pain, literally. I wish I hadn't had mine removed, but I did get at least one funny story out of the whole thing.

Well, because I was having all four of mine out at once they didn't just give me a local anesthetic, they gave me the whole kit and kaboodle and knocked me out and stuff, and when I wake up the dentists are just hanging around in the room putting away tools and equipment and everything; I don't say anything because they look kind of busy, but I'm completely alert. After a few seconds one of the dentists notices I'm awake, and she goes, "You ready to go?" And I say, "Yeah."
Apparently it's not normal to stand up and head towards the door right after coming out of anesthesia. I'd never seen so many dentists freak out at the same time before. X-P They made me lie down again and wait until THEY were ready to go.
So that's my funny story. And I don't know what the moral is, unless it's something like, "Let your dentists know what your recovery rate is ahead of time."
Oh, and also I found out that you dream when you're knocked out. At least, I know I did.

I can't do quizzes on Wednesday's because i got school… Which starts at 7:55 am. I know right… sad:(

At least you have a set schedule to do your school on. We homeschoolers just ramble through the school year however we want. (I don't even finish the school year most years.)

I haven't been to the quizzes in a long time. They're all in the middle of the night for me. :-P
