Okay, so I've seen a lot of people quote the lyrics to Thy Will by Hillary Scott in different places, and I love the lyrics but have never heard the song. Anyone know if there's a recording somewhere that I could listen to? :P Don't go look for one; I'm just curious if anyone knows of anything. Thanks!

I love playing "The Love of God" on cello. xP And I knew that about the last verse! That's so beautiful… And, I'd never heard that last verse of "Before the Throne" before!

What a difficult song this is to sing and honestly mean it. But it is so important to understand that even in the madness and the pain of life, God is still showing His love to us.

Lol, it took me a really long time to figure out why that sounded familiar. =P

Rachel M, that was perfect! It took me a little while to figure it out, though :).

I know that this song has been posted before, but it comforted me last week. I remember sobbing in the restroom on Saturday afternoon, because I had just listened to my oral round and found out that I actually had messed up (a mistake I had never made before!). The Lord quieted my heart, and reminded me that this trial is His mercy in disguise. And yes, healing does come through tears :). I still don't completely understand why I messed up in orals, why I didn't make it to semis after working much harder than ever before, why I missed a very simple memory passage question on the written test. But one thing I do know: God is always good, and He has blessed me so much, even through this crushed dream.
