The Muppets are a 'team' of puppets developed in the 1950s and were/are a comedy show that used to be a TV variety show that normally 'failed' pretty bad, and now have a TV reality show that makes fun of today's reality shows(although it's not as good as the old one… sadly). They also made several movies. Jim Henson was the guy that created them and did the voice of the main character(among others), Kermit the Frog. He also made Sesame Street. He died from a treatable bacterial infection. (Sorry if this sounds textbooky, I just enjoy the muppets, so I know a decent about them :P)

I've watched only like one full show, but my favorite characters are the Swedish Chef (hes so funny) and Animal (im a drummer at heart :p)

OK. :P my 4 favorites are Swedish chef(my mom thinks I'm crazy when I go around talking like him to her), Animal, Gonzo, and Fozzie(because my jokes always fall flat too LOL). I've actually watched quite a few of the old shows, one of my favorites being the one with Roy Rogers (combining my love of the muppets with my love of old Roy Rogers cowboy movies!)- although I also like the one where everyone turns into chickens- because they ate eggs that had gone bad xD

This is a interview that was on the Greek news the other day, about Star Wars. The guy, Travis, and his family are missionaries in Athens, we know them pretty well. Lol. He really likes Star Wars, apparently. Lol. It's in Greek, but there are English subtitles on the bottom. Watch and enjoy. :p

As an amateur 'Tuber myself, YouTube is time-consuming and can burn you out quickly if you're not prepared. If you want to do this, you have to WANT to. It has to be something you love doing. Otherwise, you're not going to put your heart into your videos and people will see that.

Presentation is a large part of how people will think about you and your channel. Banner,profile picture, intro, thumbnails, all of that goes into your personal branding and the way people will think about you and your videos, thus you'll want to look as professional as possible as fast as possible.

As someone who does games on his channel, there is a large margin of difference between my first video and my latest videos. YouTubeing is a process, one that you have to work on daily in order to get better. Personally, I'm a person who will look a lot less favorably on a channel with a crappy banner and lazy thumbnails than I will one with clean, professional-looking banners and thumbnails, regardless if the better-looking one has worse content or not. In this digital age, you want to grab people as fast as possible, and your personal presentation is a HUGE part of that.

Now, I'm watching your first video. Not bad. You're a lot less camera-shy and articulate than I was at first. But in general, when they don't know you, people aren't going to sit through a 13+ minute introductory video. For your intro/channel trailer, you should want to keep it to about 3-4 minutes. Don't delete what you have now, but as you establish yourself you'll want to put together a quick trailer that'll give a newcomer to your channel an idea of what you're about, something that I'm working o for the future of my channel.

I recommend to you YTTalk.com: it's a community full of people from all walks of life who o YouTube, and they'll be more than happy to help you find resources to make your videos better and better. Post a quick intro, look around the various forums, and you'll run into more than one vlogger who'll be willing to give you some tips. I will say that it isn't a Christian site, but they do maintain a polite atmosphere of friendliness, so don't shy away from checking it out.

Speaking of other people, don't make yourself an island. YouTube is all about community, so get out there. Find other small vloggers and talk with them about what they do, how they can improve. Look at other YouTubers, even the popular ones, and take note of what they do. Twitter is a great place to start: you can post updates to your life and work and follow the antics of other like-minded individuals. As for me, when I first started, I reached out and looked for small gamers who were playing the same games I was. 35 subscribers later, I'm putting together a large collaboration vid and I'm working with a friend to make videos together as well.

In short, YouTube is a platform for self-expression. Within that sphere, you want to create your own corner that people can access easily and know what they're getting. You're just starting out, so don't feel too pressured, but do your best to improve with every video. Find out how your camera works, learn to mix audio, learn how to edit video (not with Windows Movie Maker), etc. Do your best to reach farther and farther with each video. You can do it. :)
