Ohio Scriptorium/Bible Festival

I am planning to come… but as I am not sure of my means of transportation I can't say for sure. I will be sure to register when I know for sure, but by then I'm not sure I will have enough time to memorize anything. :( So most likely. I would come as an observer (and help out on the side with anything needed).

I agree with Rosie's assessment. I was just thinking that you guys might consider what you did for Matthew dramatization. Obviously you don't though, so now I'm still just astonished that Carissa is so comfortable with the idea of doing something so non-introvertish. =P

Sounds good. I think we did a *little* bit of dramatization as we did a little voice variation/whatever you call it. But yeah, it wasn't done to the extent of when I think "dramatization". And now.... to get on with the memory of my chapter and coming up with hand-motions. *cringe*

Oh, I really enjoy using different voices and stuff like that, it's not that I don't like hand-motions, I just like doing things that I'm confident about, and I never can seem to do those confidently. If that makes any sense… =p

Read through my chapter this morning, and know I'm going to enjoy memorizing and meditating on it a lot.

:D Awesome. Every chapter in John is just fantastic, so I'm definitely enjoying what I've memorized. =)

And you're doing 5-8? That's a lot, but really great you're doing so much.

Potentially, yeah. We actually just had one of our local Bible Bee families say that they're able to participate, when they initially didn't think they were going to be, so that will be several more people who can choose chapters to recite. So those might no longer be open, after all is said and done. But those are the ones I would like to memorize, yeah. =) But if other ones are needed, I'll probably direct my attention to those.

John 5-8 are all marked off on the OH Scriptorium site as if they are taken… so I just assumed that you had taken them…?

And I'm sorta getting scared about this dramatization… that it won't be dramatized like your family might think it should be for that day.

Sounds good. I'm more than happy to help with John 7 or 8 if no one in your family wants them because they are dramatic. But, obviously, you guys can take what you like now that registration is shut. =)

Your dad contacted my dad last night to see if I could do my chapters straight as well. I mentioned to them I was happy to do John 7-8 but your dad acted like you all might have leads on those already…? I am still happy to do them, but it sounded like it might be taken care of already.

Lol, he came up with the idea that we could play clips of Marquis doing those chapters… but he said he would do that if we didn't get anyone who wanted to do them. But I think he must have liked that idea so much that he decided to just do it anyway. =P I'll talk to him about it.

Alright, I was half right. xD He did say that he was still thinking about the Marquis thing, but that he was really just wanting to leave those open just in case another family comes along and says that the weekend opened up for them and they'd like to recite something. That could be the case for the Learys, and they haven't yet decided if they're going to be able to come. And there are other families like that as well. So he wants to keep those there for anyone who's late. ;)

But he did say that he's perfectly fine with you memorizing them as an understudy, in case nothing like that does happen. So feel free! =]

Wow, this Scriptorum sounds like it's going to be a big event!! So many of my friends will be there! wishes I was going ;)
