I got 228 and came in 5th (I think). Matthew: For some reason I received to the forum and I don't get any emails from it. Though my sister (Bethany) did subscribe and she got a lot of emails. What is the weather like where everybody lives?

Alot! I am subscribed. That is how I found out that Cheif os Sinners was on here. Aaron is checking the practice test today and hopefully will be done with that by Tomorrow. I will try to send it to you as soon as possible. Just checking, I didn't do all multiple choice questions because I couldn't think of enough and the other way is much much easier. Is that okay?

How did the Mock Bible Bee go for everyone?

@GMOV–I think our BB group was one of the only ones that did a mock Bee today, but for us, I'd say it went pretty well! I don't think that anyone else here had one today. Of course, I might be wrong… :)

You are. :D We had ours today as well. :) It was a lot of fun. We were supposed to say 5 cards in 3 minutes (because having everyone do 20 in 12 minutes would have taken way to long) and I got through my 5 cards in 1 minute 45 seconds. And Phillip (Nicolas, you remember Phillip, right? He sat closed to you at the oral waiting room or whatever it's called) made a 100 question test for us to do, but we only did 50 questions in 15 minutes (again, so it wouldn't take so long). I was pretty excited because this was the first time ever I knew the cross references!!! :) I missed one question because I said 2 Timothy had 82 verses instead of 83. :P

Sorry I didn't come yesterday! Some one came over right as I was finishing the last verse on the quiz, so I had to go. :( Anyway, hope to see you all next time!

Emily- Wow! You got through your cards fast! Which ones were they? We were to recite 4 cards in 2-21/2 min.- They were 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Chronicles 16:8-12, Deuteronomy 31:6 and Ephesians 6:10-18.
I also can't believe you only missed one question out of 50! We had 70 questions, and I missed 15 (We had to guess how many verses there are in 2 Timothy as one of the questions too).

No problem. :) It was a good assumption…out of all the days in the year, what's the chances that two Bees would both pick the same day for their last meeting? =)

GMOV, Well…at my Bee, I'm kinda known for "speed reciting". :P When I get nervous I talk really fast, I didn't really think I was going that fast till I saw my time. =) Um, let me see, we got to pick out our own and I picked out… goes and finds cards ….2 Timothy 1:2-7, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, Titus 1:1-3, Philippians 1:27-30 and Ephesians 4:11-13. Did you get through all of your cards in enough time?

Phillip's test was medium hard, and I would have messed up on another question except, when the answer had to have different words for the different versions (i.e. you'd have to say keep/guard if you wrote a question about 2 Timothy 1:14), he would only do that on the correct answer. :) I think I would have messed up on a whole lot more if I had done the whole test, after I got the the questions I haven't reviewed yet.

Almost the same with me. I finished all the cards in just two minutes, but it was only four, not five. And actually, at the time of the mock Bee, I didn't know half of the passages you said you had to do! Good thing I wasn't at that Bee! :)

Matthew's test was great. I can't wait until he sends out the whole thing; that will be such great review! (By the way, I got 14 wrong–one less wrong than GMOV! Ha! JK ;P)

Yeah, I don't know why I'm the one singled out in our Bee to be the "Speed Reciter", other kids recite fast… Well, actually, I think I do know why, one year my Mom (who hosts) had me stand up front and recite a verse as fast as I could. I kind of forgot why though. =P Maybe to show how hard it is on the judges or something.

Well, actually we got to pick out our own verses, so you wouldn't have had to recite those if you came. :)

Well….actually, I went blank on the last card, so I didn't finish in time (which seems so weird to me, because I know Ephesians 6:10-18 like the back of my hand!).

Nicolas means that he got fourteen wrong on the 70-question test. If he continued to get that many wrong, that would be 40 wrong for a 200-question test. :)

BTW: It's not just my test. Bethany made almost as many questions as I did. You were a big help too, Emily. :D

EDIT: Actually, Courtney got 14 questions wrong on the whole 200-question test (the same one). :) But she did know about many of them already.

I got 74 points. My answer didn't register for question 1, question 9 I put in the right answer, but it showed up as wrong, and question 8 I missed because I was busy on the chat log. :-)
