@ALL: I'm sorry that I haven't gotten this started as early as I said I would. You who are going to help can start making questions anytime. I am still waiting on a few people to let me know for sure whether they can help. As far as I know, the Leonards are still not sure whether they will be attending Nationals. I hope to get started in a couple of days, but we'll see what happens.

I'm sorry everyone I didn't get my test for Locals finished. With my mom pregnant and all… those of you with big families know how it is. :-)

I have decided that I am going to help with the practice tests, (that is, if you could use another junior practice test maker), so just tell me what you want me to do. What does everyone think the key verse for chapter 1 is? I think it's either 18-19 or verse 5.

I think it's 5 & 17-19. Will somebody PLEASE tell me how this works - I really want to help but I have no idea what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think instead of spending a lot of time explaining, I will direct you to the top post on this forum, directly under the section with the partnerships for Locals - the paragraph that begins with "I suggest that". There you should find an explanation of what we will be doing.

O.K . First you need to make about 100 multiple choice questions. If you can't make a full 100 that is fine. You will hopefully have a proffer, if you do sent your questions to your proffer if you don't you can proof them yourself. Proofing usually consists of spell and punctuation check and making sure that all the questions have to do with 1 and 2 timothy, have no 2 correct answers and is not bible version sensitive.You should have a partner. If you do you can send your questions to your partner every 20 or so. Eventually they will be posted on a blog post.I hope that this helps.. To direct more specific questions at me please email me. Sorry all for taking much longer than I said I would on getting this started up. I just sent all of the volunteers an email with the information for their partner. Let's get started!

How are we supposed to put the questions together? Are we supposed to have 1 person who puts the questions on a document or something?

Yes, you should assign one person to be the compiler after all the questions are done.

That will vary for different tests, but hopefully all will be finished and available at least a few days before Nationals. :)

When will these tests be available? Like, how many days is a few days before Nationals? There is just going to be one test for each age group, right? Where will the tests be posted? Sorry about so many questions, but I really don't know much about how these are put together. I just know that they were very helpful before locals, so I am looking forward to getting these before National's! :)

Sarah, I don't know about the others, but I am not going to be able to help with test making after all. I hope I will still be able to help others with their tests, but I am too busy to make my own. :( So I really can't answer your questions - however, I suspect that many of the other volunteers have also not been able to do very much on the part of test-making. I hope you're not too disappointed.

Matthew, I don't even know if this is a possibility, but, having worked on the summer practice tests, I had this thought running through my mind…

I was just wondering if you might contact those who have volunteered for the Nationals tests and find out who has actually written questions, and put them in touch with each other so that they can consolidate into tests…. It would be a bummer if some had written questions, their team members couldn't, and there ended up being no complete tests.

Anyway, just thought I would throw it out there.

I still have nearly 100 verses to learn and I am overwhelmed!!! We went to Family Camp, my parents took a cruise, we have been sick, my grandpa who lives in OK is visiting right now… In short, I have had much less time to study than I would have preferred. :( But, I am going to buckle down and really get to work for these last two weeks. So you can see why I can't help with tests.

I'll be praying for all BibleBee-ers as we study these last two weeks that we will have time to study, and very few distractions! :)
