Everyone who didn't want to start a new thread, introduce yourself here!

I've been wondering if I should officially introduce myself or not, but there are already so many threads other people have made…so, here's a thread where you can just make a great big post about yourself saying "Hi, this is me" or whatever.

As for myself, I am a 15-year-old who thinks swords are cool, but doesn't think so highly of guns, since that's an unfair advantage against those who only have swords.
I am also an animal lover. My favorites are horses, tigers, dinosaurs, dragons, pegasuses, and gryphons.
I sometims make Lego stop-motion-animation movies with my brothers.
I have two younger brothers and an older sister (and a dog and three cats).
My favorite color is orange and my favorite food is pizza. My favorite soda flavor is root beer.
My favorite movies are the Narnia movies and my favorite books (beside the Bible) are the Narnia books (the first time I read them was when I was 7).
My other favorite movies are Aladdin, Sight & Sound Joseph, and Prince of Egypt.
My other favorite books are The Robe and The Story Girl.
I am 5' 8 1/2" and am (right now) the second tallest person in my family (the tallest is my dad).
I like to draw, sketch, and paint.
I play violin, viola, and I teach myself piano. (My brother, who also plays piano, gave me a few lessons to get me started.)
I hope to be an artist or a computer animator when I grow up.
I took Tae-Kwon-Do at one point and got to yellow-belt rank.
I am homeschooled.
I'd like to visit Australia and New Zealand someday.
I tend to be funnier in the evenings.
When I'm bored (which, thankfully, isn't that often) I swordfight with imaginary opponents using foam swords.
My favorite word is "epic".
My favorite video games (actually, the only ones I own) are Zoo Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon 2.
I can sing soprano and tenor. Strangely, I can't sing alto, which is in between.
I am kind of random in basically everything.

I'm Grace AKA Galaxy. I tried to start a thread before but since I didn't work this one's cool! :)
I'm 20 years old, I was also homeschooled. Now I'm involved with YWAM, called to be a missionary! So excited and passionate about that! I have 12 brothers and sisters through adoption, fostering, and birth. The 6 boys are by birth. I come in 3rd oldest. :)
I live on what was once sort of a farm, but we've toned it down a lot over the years. Currently we only have goats, chickens, a dog, a couple cats, & the unwanted snakes and mice that accompany our chickens! :D
My church runs a day care center at which I work. I usually teach the Elementary Age kids when they're off school. I love it! God has called me to take care of His rubies (His children), and I greatly enjoy all the little kids. Sometimes I can't believe I get paid to work there. :)
Opened my account on Memverse quite a while ago but only recently started really using it much. I love the changes they've made! I don't know how many years it will take, but I'm setting out to memorize the whole Bible! If we hide the Word in our heart - then nobody can take it from us!

Swords are awesome but I've never experience one. I've experienced a gun and it's really awesome!! :)

I'd rather be in a sword fight than a gun fight though.

I'd rather be in a water ballon fight than either, though I think swords and guns are both cool. I know how to use most guns, but I've never used a sword. (Anyone know of any "sword ranges" to practice with swords?)

Ahem, you look for fencing clubs in your area to learn sword fighting! Which is what I do! Get your facts straight!

Hey… I've fenced before! It's great fun!

But hey, give a 9mm handgun, an assault rifle, or a 12 gauge tactical shotgun and I'll be perfectly happy!

Just make sure the handgun isn't 45 ACP… That's…. well… beside the point!

I've never actually used a real sword…but my Dad has a broadsword hanging above his desk, and sometimes I'll just take it down and look at it.
And I've used a BB gun before. And it wasn't really that much fun. Swords are so much cooler…even if I've never actually used one…see above.

Haha! Neat that your dad has a broadsword… That is above awesome! I'm just kidding on the sword thing.. I think they're neat, but guns are more "up-to-date!" j/k

Yeah, they are…but swords LOOK cooler! Besides, there's no impact moment you can feel when fighting with a gun. Something about hitting your sword against someone else's gives you that great adrenaline pump…yeah, fighting with any fake swords is fun, but wooden ones are better than foam because they don't BEND! What's more annoying than being in the middle of a swordfight where your sword is wobbling back and forth? (But believe me, the wooden ones hurt a LOT more!)

I sympathize with you… we used to fight with wood swords A LOT! And they HURT!

You fenced? AH! I thought I was the only fencer on here! What did you fence? I do Foil Fencing.

If you want some good foam(ish) weapons, get Nerf swords. They're PVC wrapped in foam, and they generally don't bend.

@Abi~ Yeah, fencing gives me a good rush, that's one of my main reasons for loving it! And that it has such a long tradition. But it's sometimes annoying fencing absolute beginners in a bout, 'cuz I don't get any real satisfaction from it. But I do always go easy on beginners, and try to help 'em out!

@Sam: Yeah… I "fenced"! Basically, I learned the rudiments from some friends… but never got into the sport cause I couldn't afford the equipment…. That was like 6 years ago!

So you haven't dedicated your life to the study of fencing??:):)::)

Yeah, apparently you didn't get any "real satisfaction" out of fighting me with those Nerf swords, did you? :P I don't know the first thing about sword fighting, as you well know. :P

Nah, fighting with friends is always fun! And anyway, I wasn't fencing when I used my Nerf swords, even though I did use a few fencing principles in there.

Hello everyone!

I'm 15 and the fourth in a family of five kids. I was referred by one of my sisters (I have only sisters!) and have been on for a few months now. Memverse is pretty awesome isn't it? I like to play music, read and play soccer (though not in a proper team). I was born in the US but now live on a small two acre property in Australia. I spend my free time riding kangaroos and wombats. JK :D.
Oh, forgot to mention, I'm hometeached too. :)
