What is your favorie bible verse? What stands out and why?
For me it is
Isaiah 40:28-31
English Standard Version (ESV)
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

This isn't exactly my "favorite verses" but it's one that I have recently been thinking about a lot!
Matthew 10:30 (look it up)
God cares so much about even the smallest details of our life that we take for granted. He is worthy of all our praise!Awesome verse!
I find it so sad when I relize that I only turn my heart back to Him when I lack something I want. I should be glorifying Him with all my heart mind and strength.

The bible is so interesting that even the book of Chronicles fails to be boring.
1 Chronicles 11: 23
And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high; and in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and Wrested the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.

Man, that dude was tall, I guess not as tall as Goliath, but hey how many 7.5 foot tall men does a body see.
