This Friday or next Friday? Today might work…I'll have to ask my mom. You should get the letter tomorrow (doubtful) or Monday. :)

Oh, sorry! I was saying next Friday. I don't think today will work, because we are going to a family's house for dinner, and so I'll be trying to finish my schoolwork quickly. Will next Friday work though?

umm…if it's before 4:00 p.m. my time - my dad's job gives free Six Flags tickets to the employees and that's the day we are scheduled to go.

I will try to write back soon, when I find the time…:) And about phonecalling….I'm really sorry I didn't get back to you! Right now, we (I) have so much going on, I don't know when we will be able to talk. :( I know this week won't work, but maybe next Saturday, if that works for you, that is. I'll try to figure something out.

You know how annoying I find it when I'm really looking forward to talking to a friend on the phone (referring to you), but then things just keep coming up?! Because a week after I wrote that, we received an invitation to a friend's home to celebrate the dad's 40th birthday - this Friday.
:( Though, Dad did say that we might not be able to go…..ug! I really don't like how things keep coming up when I so want to talk to you! I'll let you know if something pops up this week. Is that all right?

Just call me whenever you can and we'll play "phone tag" until we reach each other! :)

I'm actually starting to think that we won't be going to the celebration our friend's home Friday evening because Dad is sick, and a few of the boys have runny noses, coughs, etc.
So maybe we will be able to talk! I'll start a list of things to talk about, just in case….:) Though, I'll let you know tomorrow, because if it does work out for me, I think it might be best if you called me. Plus, ahem, well, I kind of need to find the letter that has your phone number in it……

I hate to tell you this, but we probably won't be here tomorrow - my mom's aunt died yesterday (in IN) so we will most likely be taking a last minute road trip up to IN tomorrow. So, I will have to call you some other time - I did send you a letter yesterday or Tuesday so you should be getting it and it has my # and email & street address. Please pray that everything will work out as it should - my dad really needs to stay here so that he can work because he is scheduled for nearly a straight week and really shouldn't miss it. However, if my uncle doesn't drive us to IN, my dad will have to go…so, please pray that my uncle will be able to go with us…Thanks! :)

Oh, all right then. It's okay – that is far more important than just a phone call (not like talking on the phone is bad or anything :). I'll be praying for you all, as well as your uncle.

Thanks for understanding - I really wish we could chat tomorrow - my dad has decided to take us. :) It will be a 8-9 hour drive with 4 kids (13 ((teen)), 9, 7, & 2) so that will be somewhat of a challenge. But our cousins are going and their dad and his wife so that will be fun, and we haven't seen everyone up in IN for A LOOOOOOONG time…unfortunately, last time was also for a funeral. :(

Oh, I know what you mean – it is rare that we (our whole family) ever go on long car trips either; when we went on our trip this month (first time in 4 1/2 yr.) we had Royal, Titus, Ethan and Peter (11, 8, 7, 4) all in the back row – ahem let's just say, it didn't go over very well. :)
That's sad though, I'll be praying for your safety.

Totally understand!!! On the way there, Joshua & my sister and I were all in the backseat…that was interesting. :) I got your call last night - when are you available? Tomorrow won't work and neither will Saturday or Sunday. Maybe Monday?
