Social Chatting #2

What all are you planning to do this summer with BB? Any additional memorization or studying besides the SS?

So far I have memorized 23 of the 61 verses (the first six weeks + another passage), but I haven't mastered them yet.

I am going to memorize the CR from the sword study. I am also going to be reading 2, 3 John, Revelation and John. what about you?

I plan on memorizing all the verses and going through the entire SS (of course!) Learn the context of the MV, memorize the Greek words… I'd like to read the other books John wrote, familiarize myself with the CR, and 1 John.

I'm only on the second. I'm trying to go slow, or I might just blaze through it and not really learn anything. I've had that problem in the past.

Carissa -Thanks for the hug! here's one for you! My studying is coming along fine, although it was kind of hard to focus because of my headache. :( How about you?

Have you noticed that the memorized verses on Memverse are going backward?

Yeah just last week we had 274,746 memorized verses. I wonder if it's because people are deleting verses to make room for the Bible Bee verses.

That would make sense. Well, I am working on adding my 2013 Bible Bee verses and hopefully that will make it go up again some when I memorize them.

I think I might have to rethink my guess on when we will reach 300,000 memorized verses. Oh well, it was fun to do that anyway. :)

Woo hoo!!!! I'm really excited!!! I JUST found out that we are going to go hear Dr. S.M Davis preach tonight at a nearby church!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D our family loves his teaching! :)

Most people think I'm really quiet but… I don't think so! :) and like Ian said it depends on who I'm around. :) like I don't think most of the guys on my swim team have heard me even speak before. :) lol JK I'm not THAT quiet. :)

I am reserved and quiet (people from church can testify), and am horrible at keeping conversations going; unless of course, the other person is outgoing and talkative, then it works perfectly! They talk, and I listen :)
Though, as I've said before, if you set me going on a certain topic (or if I'm just 'in the mood') I can be quite talkative, and often will ramble (which I don't like).

Yes, that will quite interesting…normally, when people are over, I don't talk at all unless spoken to. But I guess we'll see how it goes in just two days.
