Practicing my Shii-Cho with my Ultrasaber, and playing a bit of Force Unleashed 2. By "bit", I mean 5 minutes, as I sorta got bored. That's why I'm here now.

Lol sound like it obsessed with Star Wars lately. :) I have to admit playing with lightsaber a even I'd they r plastic when u have someone to fight with is really fun. :) me and my little bro were dueling with metal polls a week or so ago while quotient princess bride. :P :) that was fun! :) may I ask what in the world is Shii-Cho? Lol :)
BTW- how is the biblebee going 4 u? U better be studing!! Lol :) JK (but really :P lol)

Shii-Cho is the most basic of the 7 Forms(styles), of Lightsaber Combat, taught roughly to every Jedi and Sith. I hope to master it, then move on to Form 2, Makashi.

The BB's been pretty good for me. I've been sort of "reverse-lazy" than I was last year. Last year, I focused on my verses more than my Sword Study, this year, I'm focusing more on my Sword Study. You?

I've been trying to focus on my sword study a lot too since it's so important :) lol I am working on memorizeing the week 4 verses. :) how many verses do u have memorized so far? :)

Rachel and Christian Jedi, how are you focusing more on the Sword Study? What are you doing differently from last year? I'm asking because I'm wondering what more I should do in this area.

@ServantOfTheKing - memorizing Cross-references, greek words, 1 John - studying a lot. Wiersbe Bible Commentary works well too, if you want to really study up on it. There's plenty of stuff you can find on the web too

Allison: I'm focusing more on the SS by memorizing the greek words, familizing myself with the cross references mentioned in the SS, hopefully reading the other books John wrote, learning the context of the memory verses, etc.

OH YEA!!!! :) especially when she's like flying in the preview! :) lol like, "NOT FAIR! Why can't I be an elf?!?!" Lol JK :)

The only thing I wouldn't like about being an Elf would be outliving all my friends. But then, I can always hang out with their kids( and grandkids, and great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids…), and be able to give them first-hand accounts about how their parents( and grand-parents, and great-grand-parents…) were!

Not really. My legs were saying something different though, but I think that was a by-product of playing outside for so long yesterday.

Anyhoo, Bible study is going good for me. I've been going through Philippians in my personal devotion, and have thus gotten a bit behind in my Sword Study. I really love Philippians though, 4:8 has to be one of my favorite verses!

Oh, okay…that makes sense. Well at least you didn't start "that" again :)
I so like the book of Philippians. It is such a great book.

"He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ." That verse gives me so much joy, that God doesn't just make me a Christian and give up on me, but He's constantly perfecting me!

I know! Philippians is so encouraging. I really like that we got to memorize Philippians 3:8-11. I so like those verses. I also really like 2:1-11. Christ is the perfect example!
