Priscilla Krahn
Started by Priscilla K.Priscilla K.
My name, (If you haven't already guessed) is Priscilla, (Priscilla Joy Krahn to be exact.) I'm a sixteen year old farm kid. I'm the youngest of seven living children, and I became a Christian when I was three and a half years old. Since I grew up in a Christian home I knew at a very young age that I was a sinner and on my way to Hell, but by God's Grace, I've been saved.
I guess if you were to ask me what my passion in life is, I would probably say that it is two-fold. My hands down biggest passion, is evangelism. My Dad got me started leaving gospel tracts around when I was really small, and I've done it ever since. I'm just getting into the "Scary" world of actually witnessing to people by word of mouth. It's awesome.
My second passion, would probably be writing. I love to write!
I play the piano, and I have the distinction of being the only child in our family with blue eyes. Like I said we farm, we have a Beef/Dairy/Grain farm, and in the fall we run a corn maze.
My hobbies consist of, (When I have the time) reading, playing piano, baking, embroidering, trapping, hunting, fishing, and writing.
I'm from Northern Minnesota, (five miles south of Canada) and my back-round is mostly German/Sweedish.
Every one is always asking me what I like to read, so I'll tell you before you ask. I love to read, Lamplighter (my favorite one is "The Hidden Hand.") G.A.Henty ("Beric the Britton"), Ed Dunlap books (The Sherlock Jones"), Carloyn Ann Aish (The Frencolian Chronicles."), and Louis Walford Johnson ("The North Woods Adventures"). I guess I like almost any good Christian books, especially ones by Isabel Alden, from which, I've learned a lot.
As to movies, I don't think anyone has seen most of our family favorites. We can't even find most of them on DVD. We like a lot of old videos, though some newer ones are good too. I grew up watching the Animated Hero Classics, Great Stories Bible Stories, The Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Davy Crocket (with Fess Parker.) Alvin York, Test of Faith, Coach, Missionary to Walkers Garage, and Stars in my Crown. To name a few.
I guess you could say that I'm a little bit of an average person with some big ideas. I once asked my sister "What would life be like without hopes and dreams?" and she replied, "It's very peaceful." I wouldn't know.
The phrase that my siblings use to sum me up, comes from Jonathan Park, (another family favorite, along with Patch the Pirate.) the phrase is, "That's what I like about you partner, you dream big!"
I think it would be neat if I could get to meet some of you someday, but if I don't, I want you to remember me, by the next sentence.
DON'T BE A PASSIVE CHRISTIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I've seen "The Lone Ranger" and the "Davy Crocket" with Fess Parker:) And I've seen Sgt. York with Gary Cooper, but it's probably not the same one…
Priscilla K.
That's the same one! I love learning history from movies. And was the Lone Ranger you saw with Clayton Moore? He's in the ones we watch.
Emily H
Okay neat! I LOVE Sgt York=D Yes, it was with Clayton Moore!! :) How many seasons of Lone Ranger did they have? I've only seen one season and I don't remember which season it was…
Have you seen The Rifle Man or Daniel Boone (with Fess Parker as well:)??
2 Corinthians 5:17
Oh funny! I've been on your family's blog before! :D

Yes, we have seen some of the Rifle Man, and the Daniel Boone. I'm afraid I have no idea how many seasons of the Lone Ranger there are, but I think I've seen most of them.

That is cool. I find it interesting how many people have seen our blog. I've met people who knew a lot about me from that, and I've never met them!!
