His Servant

His Servant
I'm sorry! I'll try not to make another mistake…!
@Rachel – oh, yeah, I'm so forgetful….
2 Corinthians 5:17
Yes! Wow, you're good with the reference :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
no you're not! :)
Matthew Minica
A. Though maybe Rachel, you should put the reference on that question because it could be any of the four…
His Servant

2 Corinthians 5:17

His Servant
Yeah, Matthew, but we haven't had to study 2 Corinthians 5:17 or anything like that…. :D
2 Corinthians 5:17
Good idea, Matthew.
Bethany- d?
His Servant
@Rachel – B!!!
Matthew Minica
His Servant
Rachel – No, that's not correct….
His Servant
@Matthew – correct!
2 Corinthians 5:17
No, B isn't correct. The reference is 1 John 1:2. (When I write it like "1:2" etc, that means its in 1 john )
His Servant
According to 1 John 3:8, why did Jesus come to the earth?
a. To save His elect
b. To die on the cross
c. God wanted Him too
d. to destroy Satan's works
EDIT – Rachel – was I correct?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Hmmm…D?
I hope my questions are making sense, I'm kind of making them upas I go, with the help of my in depth questions I made (not multiple choice)
Bethany, sorry, B isn't correct.
Matthew Minica
What should be the reason for letting men see our good works?
A. So that our reputation will be raised
B. So that they will be convicted to change their ways
C. So that the Father in heaven will be glorified
D. So that they will have a glimmer of light in their dark world
@Bethany - D
@Rachel - Okay then, C. You didn't include the reference before.
His Servant
Correct, Rachel!

His Servant
Matthew – C!
I think that Matthew 5:14-16 and Matthew 6:1 are interesting verses….
2 Corinthians 5:17
C!!!
I didn't? I thought so! Yes, C is correct!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Matthew 6:1?
Matthew Minica
Yeah, me too. I think it has to do with our motive. Remember, Jesus' Sermon on the Mount is all about heart attitudes.
@Rachel - When I first answered the question, all it said was "What was with the Father" unless I missed something…
His Servant
Matthew and Rachel – I might disagree on Rachel's question….The Word of Life and Eternal life are referring to Christ. That's what I've always thought at least….
His Servant
@Rachel – Look up Matthew 6:1 and you'll see!
@Matthew – Yes, that's right about the Sermon on the Mount. I think it's neat about loving one another is called "a new commandment and an old commandment" and it is because of the Sermon on the Mount. So neat!
As an old commandment – love your friends
As a new commandment – love your enemies as well
Matthew Minica
Yes, that's true, which would make B and C both correct.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Yes, that's right. I was just going by what the verse said, though :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
I know what the verse is, I just was wondering what you meant by it :)
Bethany- it's 3:20, now is your mom home yet? :D
2 Corinthians 5:17
You two still here?
Matthew Minica
Right here. I was gone for a few minutes but now I'm back.
2 Corinthians 5:17

B. because he has a message from God
C. Because the word of God abideth in you
D. None of the above
His Servant
@Rachel – I'm really sorry to ask you this…can I call you at 2:45? It's sorta stressful over here trying to figure what works with my parents to call you….is that okay?
EDIT – About the two verses…Matthew 5;14-16 – talks about us showing our works. Matthew 6:1 talks about us being aware of how we show our deeds.
His Servant
Rachel – D!
Matthew Minica
(That's okay!)
D!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Yes, that's totally fine! :) just call when it's good for you.
