Oral or Written?

Good pianist. Not my cup of tea though. And Carissa, I listened to 45 seconds. Not 3, like you did. So there.
2 Corinthians 5:17
You have to listen to all of it! It's soooo pretty! :D
biblebee
But our music is so much nicer that you should listen to it all!
Hiruko Kagetane
It is very pretty. If I was married, I'd listen to it with my wife. I said it was good.
2 Corinthians 5:17
I don't know what to say.
biblebee
What does being married after to do with it?
Hiruko Kagetane
It's one of those "awwwwwww" songs. Like, a lullaby that you'd sing to your baby, and you get tears in your eyes. Or a song that your mom might've sung to you, that brings back good memories.
biblebee
Sam!!!!!!!
Hiruko Kagetane
What?
2 Corinthians 5:17
You know, we are WAY off topic!
Hiruko Kagetane
So?
biblebee
Our songs are not just lullabies!!!!!!!!! And yes, we are WAY off topic!
Hiruko Kagetane
Fine Carissa. You win. It's a very pretty song, and I'll listen to all of it later. Happy now? But seriously, when we're grown up, we need to meet up.
biblebee
Thank you!!! Yes, I am happy now!!! Why do we have to meet up when we're older…can't we meet up now (like at nationals)?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Why when we're grown up? :P
Hiruko Kagetane
I'm saying that if we can't meet at Nats (knowing myself, I probably won't be able to get there), then we should meet up when we're older. Or, at a Vision Forum conference.
biblebee
Oh you can get there!
And if you don't make it then ride along with someone that does make it! Yes, if we don't meet up at nationals we have to meet up somewhere else!
Dani(elle)
When we r older we should TTLY all volunteer at nats and all meets. That would b awesome!! :)
Dani(elle)
Stow yourself away in the Alexander's trunk and them half way down you can come out and it will be to late for them to bring u back. There.
Or man up and finish memorizing your verses and study hard! At least u can give it your best shot! :)

LOL!!!
Yeah! That would be SO cool to meet at Nats!!!
Hannah W. (Adelaide)
Of you who have gone to Nats, which is easier, oral or written?
Everett C.
The oral round is way easier. The written test is a lot of guessing. Written is so hard!
biblebee
The oral is easier but personally I like the written the best!
Matthew Minica
Hmm, that's a difficult question. I wasn't that well prepared for either last year, so they were both difficult. I think I prefer the oral, though, especially when I got a score much higher than I expected (I thought I had run out of time and only quoted 18 passages, but I actually quoted 19.)
Sarah
The oral is a LOT easier. They don't give you a study for the National written test, so you have to literally study everything that could possibly be related to the book in order to get a good score. In 2011, when the Nationals book was 2 Peter, about 30 questions out of 200 were about the book of Jude.
Hannah W. (Adelaide)
Which do you feel more prepared for this year? The oral or the written?
biblebee
Which do you feel more prepared for this year? The oral or the written?
Both :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
Oral! :)
Ian R.2
Oral I think.
Hannah W. (Adelaide)
Oral! :)
Me too :)! As I said in another forum, I don't really understand 4 and 5 very well so definitely ORAL :)1!!!!!!!
@biblebee- I wish I was as prepared as you to be ready for both :P!
Bethany Meckle
Oral!
biblebee
Well I just said both because I feel better prepared for both of them then I did the previous years.
Dani(elle)
Which do you feel more prepared for this year? The oral or the written?
Written. I have a horrible feeling about orals.
God's Maiden of Virtue
I enjoy the oral more than the written – I have no particular reason :) And I guess I feel prepared for both the written and the oral this year.
Sarah
I always feel a lot less prepared for the written test.
Emily H
Hmmm, I guess I feel more prepared for orals, sense I pretty much know exactly what I'm going to be tested on. But I also think orals is the thing I'm most likely to totally mess up on. :P
His Servant
Same here, Rosie! I like the oral round a lot more, but I am feeling way more prepared this year than last year.
God's Maiden of Virtue
Yeah…..actually, I just finished going over my answers for the practice written test, and well, let's just say, I'm not too happy with my results….I got 41 wrong – which is about 80% in percentage – and 477 points out of 600, or something like that. :-/
His Servant
It's okay, Rosie (wow! I haven't talked with you forever on here!)! You'll do fine! Just do your best, and leave the results up to God! He is in control!
How are Nicolas and Christian feeling about locals?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Hello, Rosie and Bethany! :)
His Servant
Hello :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
How are you? What's kept you busy today?
His Servant
Studying and Amy took us to the college goes too because they were giving out free smoothies today :) You?
Don't you think we should move this to the social chatting thread?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Neat! Oh yummy…what kind? Mainly studying…or reviewing, I should say :)
Yes…I do :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
@Bethany: Christian says he let me know how he feels about locals after he takes the practice test, and Nicolas, I don't know – he isn't home from work yet (he works with Dad). :) And thanks for the encouragement!
His Servant
@Rosie – Awww…he won't tell you if he feels prepared or not? I wanna know because I'm competing as a senior, with him!
Oh, well :(
2 Corinthians 5:17
Me too! :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
@Bethany: Well, he said he won't really know either until he takes the practice test. Make sense? :)
His Servant
@Rosie – Yes, it does make sense…I just wished he would tell you if he's felling confident about locals, or something like that.
Has he taken any practice tests? How did he do? :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
No, he hasn't – he is in the middle of doing it right now in the same room I'm in. :)
