That's good :) I always take tests fast…I tried slowing it down a lot on the junior test I took today. I had about 5 extra minutes on it. On the primary test I took, I had 30 minutes left over!! I took that wayyyyy to fast. If I had slowed it down, I probably wouldn't have gotten 10 wrong :(

Has Nicolas taken any tests yet?

Uhh…Christian is in the same room as you! I wish he would tell you something about how he's feeling about locals! But, I guess he doesn't want you to disturb him while he's taking the test… :(

Yeah….I'm sure I would have only missed 2 question on if if I had slowed down…all the rest that I missed, were only missed because of carelessness.

I missed 16 questions on the primary test. I had about 13 minutes left. Tomorrow I'll probably do the Junior and the Senior. :)

@ Bethany: To answer your question, I'm feeling more confident about Locals now, having done well on the practice test. There's still a bunch more I want to do, but I'm doing well on my verses, and I've almost memorized 1 John, so I've accomplished almost everything I wanted to.

How's your confidence level? ;)

jaw drops Christian posted more than 3 times today. :O

I'll feel more/less confident after I take the senior test. My dad wants me to take it tomorrow….I'll probably take it tomorrow as late as possible, that way I can finish memorizing the book, that way I can judge how I did. I guess if I do horrible on it (which, I don't know why, but I'm planning on….) I can either spend Friday really frustrated at myself for not studying more, or studying like crazy for another day.

Oh, well, it really doesn't bother me as much as I am making it out to be. Right now, to answer your question Christian, I don't know what my confidence level is. In one sense, I think I know a good amount, but in another sense I know there are a lot more seniors who have studied harder than me….

I think I know a good amount, but in another sense I know there are a *lot* more seniors who have studied harder than me....

Those are just about exactly my thoughts. :)

But I haven't thoroughly done everything I want too….besides, you did soooo much better than me last year (34 compared to 87!) why do I think that it will be drastically different this year?

My, I've noticed you really like those circle smilies (if you can even call them that). You use them all the time on my blog :)

Because I was very busy and didn't study as much…? :P

Yes. I do like them. They often convey just the right emotion. :D

I like experimenting with different combinations of keys to see what kind of emoticons I can come up with. :)

No idea… I do know that Octavius came in 110 or something and he had a perfect oral score. So that gives you an idea of how important the written test is. ;)

Okay. I really hope I do better this year at Locals. The highest I've gotten (nationals 2012) was 51….I've also gotten 65, 76 and 87. Yeah…I have a pattern going of dropping by 11's…

Okay, I see :) BTW, I did another Bible Bee post, but it was really boring. =)

How is Nicolas feeling about locals?

I hope you don't come in 98th this year! O_O There I did it again. :P

I guess he'll have to tell you himself when I give him the computer in a couple of minutes. ;)

I know, I really hope I don't get 98th this year! That would be really sad. But hey, when I was dropping by 11's, that was in a row, and then I got 51….so maybe I'll start increasing by 11's, and I'll get 40! I'd be really happy with that :)

I might not be on then, so tell him to tell me anyways, that way when I get on tomorrow I can see it :)

A few of my favorite things about Orals, is, I get to talk, (haha…), I get to share the scripture I've memorized with others, etc. :). My least favorite thing about Orals….uh….that the judges are watching for mistakes :P I don't really know.
Written? Uh…because I'm sitting! :P lol, JK! Uh…not sure.

I hate orals cause I have to talk in front of people. (Ahhh!!!) but I like them cause I know my verse (what to say. :))

I don't like the written cause it's hard to prepare for but I like it because you don't have to talk (lol) and it tests ur all around knowledge. And u have to be fast etc. :) the kinda challenge I enjoy a little bit more.

Wow. It's sure taking Nicolas a long time to get on! JK, JK =)

Yeah, he ended up only doing his session and then getting off. :P Maybe he'll be more social tonight. ;)

What is everyones favorite and least favorite thing about the oral and written round?

Orals:
Least favorite - entering the room. Favorite - exiting the room. Jk, kinda sorta :)

Written:
Least favorite - having the pages in the test booklet stick together and be really hard to flip (like it did today :P). Favorite - Probably the challenge…I don't know, there's a lot of things I like about it. Not having to talk is also a really big thing :P :)
