Yeah I saw the new movie… I loved it! My grandparents just took me and my older brother to see it as a play also! It was soooo cool with live music and stuff! I wish I could watch a musical on broadway… :)

It has some things in it that my mom and dad wouldn't want the younger ones watching which is why only my older brother and i watched it. The music is the part i love and the singers are great and sing so powerfully! The main story isn't about the "communists", but about a man who learns what grace is.

oh ok. well, the latest movie that came out - the musical - doesn't get into the reasons behind the revolution or the rich people, like Marius' grandfather, near as much as the book or older movies do.

Yeah I agree =D I still can't help but laugh at some of the weird times everyone just starts singing though :P

Hmm, somehow you seemed to me like the kind of person who might like listening to Skillet. ;P I think my favorite band is Tenth Avenue North. They've got some great lyrics, their songs sound good, and they proclaim the gospel (something that is only faintly referenced in most Christian bands today).

My favorite song, however, is In Christ Alone, sung by many different artists but originally written by Keith and Kristin Getty (if I remember correctly). It's just an amazingly encouraging song, and I absolutely love the music. :)

BTW, I like movie soundtracks too, and I wish I could listen to those four that you gave links to, but… I can't access YouTube. :(

My favorite band would probably be Bethel Live. If you haven't listened to anything by them, you should. They have the best praise and worship music I've ever heard!
My favorite song is Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United.

I know, that probably sounds weird because my favorite song isn't by my favorite artist. But I'm weird. ;-)

Noah- Awake and Alive? Seriously? Ever since I saw the cover of that album, I haven't liked it that much. I guess mummies with one eye poking out of the wrappings aren't my thing. :-P

If you had to make a Top 5 list of your favorite Christian songs (contemporary, hymns, or both), what would it look like? Here's mine:

  1. Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United
  2. God I Look To You by Bethel Live
  3. One Thing Remains by Kristian Stanfill
  4. Cry Out to Jesus by Third Day
  5. White Flag by Chris Tomlin

Okay, I have to admit that that was a challenge. But it was fun!

I don't know if this is in the correct order of my favorites but here you go:

  1. Amazing Grace
  2. And Can It Be
  3. On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand
  4. I Need Thee Every Hour
  5. We're Marching to Zion

Whoa! I agree, that's pretty much impossible. Mine fluctuates a lot. Do you mind if I post two lists, contemporary style and hymns? :)

  1. Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns
  2. Whom Shall I Fear? by Chris Tomlin
  3. The Motions by Matthew West
  4. Worn by Tenth Avenue North
  5. I can't decide between I Need You Now by Plumb and All This Time by Britt Nicole. :)

  6. Be Still, My Soul
  7. Christ Returneth
  8. Jesus Is All the World to Me
  9. No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus
  10. In The Garden

I didn't think about this too much, so there could well be others I forgot.

Haha. I'm beginning to think I don't like her as much, since I've had her [dare I say annoying? :P] song in my head for pretty much all day. Even listening to Casting Crowns didn't help - it came back when I finished the album. :(
