I've heard the Gettys and LOVE them! I haven't heard of the other two.

YES! Me too! We have their Hymns for the Christian Life and I love that album! I don't know if you would like the other too. They are not quite "contemporary" ;)

We have their album 'In Christ Alone'. We first heard them at the 2010 National Bible Bee, where they were guests, and we loved their music so we bought that album. I also really like the contemporary hymns of Stuart Townend.

Awesome! Yes, I think I like his stuff too.

He composes a lot with the Gettys, but he's also done a few on his own such as "How Deep the Father's Love for Us". That one is one of my favorites.

My favorite is Praise You In This Storm. Unfortunately I don't have that one on album. I also really like Already There.

It's not that I don't enjoy Britt Nicole… Her song "All This Time" is on my favorites list. :) It's just that "Ready or Not" is a bit annoying when it gets stuck in your head.

Carissa, I am surprised at you. You say you don't like contemporary style. Did you like the song that your sister and I wrote? Well, that was contemporary style. And seriously, what's wrong with the Untitled Hymn???? You ought to listen to "Blessings" by Laura Story. If you don't like that one, then I don't know what to say......

Some of the lyrics weren't my favorite and I didn't like how that guy sang it. And I don't want to listen to "Blessings", sorry.

I don't know that I won't like it because I've never heard it but I just have this feeling that I won't like it. And if I have to listen to someone singing then I know I won't like it because I can't stand how some people sing!!

I didn't say that I don't like listening to songs in which people sing. I just said I don't like how some people sing… I do listen to music with people singing it. It depends on how guys and girls sing…sometimes the girls singing is lots better than the guys singing but sometimes its the other way around….

Yeah, same here. I think I tend to like guys better because girls do more of the creepy sounding vocal fry. :P But there are some girls that I really like.
