How's Bible Bee going? How many verses do you have memorized? Are you a senior or junior?

WE are a senior citizen! (but even as a senior citizen, i still can't get the discounts!) I've memorized countless (almost countless) verses, (I do approximate 13 per day, starting the next day after I received the verses)

Really though, how many have you memorized? Do you memorize 13 on Saturday and Sunday?

I'm working towards my goal of having all my verses memorized and mastered by the end of September. So far, it's going pretty good.

That was probably me… I just figured that out myself not too long ago. :\ The Kendrick Brothers said at the last San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival that they are going to continue to make movies, but they were not sure at that point what God wanted them to make next.

Hi Matthew! How's the studying going? How many verses have you memorized?

I'm afraid things are going a little slower lately. I've got 260-270 verses memorized, so I'm thankfully on track to finish by the end of October. I haven't had much time to quiz though, and tomorrow, we are going on a trip down to the Rio Grande Valley over the weekend. My Sword Study is also not quite flourishing, but thankfully, I've left in enough time so that I'm not behind yet.

You're doing well! I'm not even working on Ephesians right now. I'm just mastering my verses (trying to have them all mastered by the end of September) right now, trying to get them well for the 28th, which is our Bee meeting with the other national qualifiers in our Bee. I'm really looking forward to that!

I wish we could do that. Unfortunately, only Sarah Johnston and Courtney and I qualified from our locals this year, and Sarah's not going. :( I still don't know how you're memorizing so quickly… I suppose not working on Ephesians has something to do with it. I'm trying to keep them both balanced throughout the season. It seems that most days, though, I think that I've focused too much on one or the other. :\

It was my mom's idea to do it, and I like it. I work on it all day, pretty much! Except for a few breaks for meals, chores, playing a quick piano song, or something like that :) I actually need to memorized the Galatians 3:15-4:7 (or whatever is!) I keep putting it off, so I'll need to work on it tonight. After I finish that, I'll have 455 done! My goal for tomorrow is to be through 505.

That sounds unpleasant. :( Yeah, I probably need to be reviewing more… BTW, I finally finished Psalm 25 today! I'd been working on that one for a while. Galatians 5:1-18 is the next long one. So far that one hasn't been too difficult.

Yeah, it was! It was hard to eat suppers. I get cramps a LOT, and everyone in my family says it's because it's because I don't drink enough milk (which I really don't like milk….) but I think the tongue cramp was because I was quoting so much.

Great job! Yeah, the Galatians 1:1-18 was super easy for me….it took me 9 minutes to memorize :)

That's not what I'd call working on Ephesians at all either, its just more than I did any of the days I was working through my Sword Study. ,jk.
