Okay. I did Greek words for a lot of the words, but then only studied like 5 or so for each chapter. And I looked up which memory passages had those words (key key words or whatever :P) in them… It so doesn't seem like enough. But I guess in the SS there's a lot of stuff other than studying the Book…. I don't know :P

Because we have a lot more verses this year than ever before except 2009, so it will be a lot harder.

My studying is going okay. Even though I'm really behind on my verses, I'm pretty far along in Ephesians. It probably should be the opposite though: ) How's yours?

Do you take Spanish?

I have roughly 100 verses to go and am hoping to finish learning them in 5-6 days. Concerning Ephesians, I've got half of chapter 5 and all of chapter 6 left to study.

What are you doing for studying each chapter??

Yes, and I feel like I should know more than I do by now. I do know a lot of Spanish, per se, but I can't really use it yet. One of these years I'm going to go on a missions trip to a Spanish-speaking country for lots of immersion.

I'm at about the same point as you. I hope to also finish my verses in a little under a week and I'm halfway through chapter 5.

I do a three- or four-day Streetview of sorts, then study all the Greek words and label my key words. I also try to find a few cross-references, but I'm lacking in that area. Since we don't know the cross-references they will ask (except for Colossians :)), I'm hoping that my general knowledge of the Bible (shorter NT epistles in particular) will get me by on that part of the test.

Okay. What do you do for "streetview"? Cross references the years before…those were mostly from our memory passages….right? And then they did a LOT of Jude in 2011, I know that.

What have y'all been talking about?

"Streetview" for me is mostly writing out thoughts I had when I first read the chapter, finding any lists that happen to be included and then asking questions about the chapter. Oh, and also finding quoted verses.

Mostly BB, with a little bit of choir and Spanish mixed in :) Nothing extremely silly though. :P

Yeah, the CR did seem to be mostly from the memory verses last year. 2012 was the first year though that I think they made a big effort to choose verses that went with the study books.

Chapter 1 especially is like one big long list!! :)
