Happy Sunday

I try not to spend to much time on the forums, because than people are always correcting me for a dishonest mistake. Plus, people are always saying I am too serious, which is hard to bare, because I never am even trying. :(

@Pua of the Punites: I disagree with whoever these “people” are! :) I don’t know if you are joking when you posted that… but I don’t believe you’re nearly as “dishonest” as I am said to be, or you haven’t read the Theology discussions much. I am not outgoing or humorous either. Most of my attempts at being funny here probably just make me seem childish.
You are prudent and more thoughtful in matters then most. You would never be taken for the fool hearty type caught up in fun and joking. So don’t be sorry! :)

Anyway, I like your mysteries way of posting. The username of “Elusive” would suit you much better then me any day!!! :)

I'm doing well. Studying is going okay. This week is my intense week of studying :)

I'm doing moderately well, and my studying's going pretty well too. I still have more verses to memorize than I should, but I think I'll be able to get them all down in time. My intense week of studying is next week. :)

See…I told you that you would have all your verses down!! :) It's hard to believe that nationals is SO close!!

Hey, it's still not certain that I will. ;) I'll have to memorize more verses in a week than I ever have in my life in order to do it, but I'll give it my best and see what becomes of it.

I know… I'm not sure whether to be panicky or really excited. :P

I just can't wait to see everyone. Of course, it would be a plus if I made it to semifinals- I would really like to go for the Oratory Award.

Nicolas!!!! You can do it! Do you know the exact number of verses you will have to memorize a day to finish in time for nationals?

@Dani–Same here, on all statements. :) I actually do want to win the Oratory Award if I make it to Semifinals–I'm planning on expressing the passages with much more feeling than I normally do. (Pssst… don't tell my family I said that. :P)

@Carissa–I don't know how many verses a day I'd have to memorize, but I'd have to memorize 2.5 hundred verses in 2.5 weeks. Yeah. Ahem.

Well, you can afford to do that a little more than I can. ;)
I have, actually; when I'm at my best I tend to memorize at a rate of about sixteen verses an hour. Probably not as good as you could do, but not bad.

Well…for me it an be difficult…it just kinda depends.
Ummmmmm……about 55. But later I couldn't really quote half of them.

Just keep working at it, and you'll certainly have them down in no time. :)

Yeah the first time I did that in 1 hour I only did about 10 because I tried to get them all perfect but I kept doing it till I just did the initial stage of memorizing it. :)

2 right now its a four book series, Inheritance Cycle there called. Eragon, Eldest, Brisinger, and Inheritance.
3 I also red the Bryan Davis dragon books. He's a Christian author, but I really didn't like them. How about the Ranger books?
