Howdy Sarah! How was your church service?

It was good! Our pastor keeps using a photo of a penguin banging together a pair of cymbals over a polar bear's head, but I have no idea why. :-) How was yours?

That's odd. What's it suppose to mean?
It went well! We had fellowship meal, which was nice.

We are in the Shenandoah Valley.

And, to help my cold get better, I'm drinking hot chocolate and eating a cookie.

I really don't know. My little brother thinks it's hilarious, though! :-D

What churches do you go to?

Our family goes to Plymouth Covenant Church.

I go to Harmony Believers Fellowship :)

We go to a small Bible church in Fairbanks. They're slightly Reformed leaning, and they're the closest to family-integrated that we have in Fairbanks. We've had several churches send people to us because they wanted their kids in the service :)

So Dani: exactly what was it like to be in Semis?

@Rachel: We've been reading in Romans as a family, but one that struck me recently was in Hebrews when Paul is talking about the change in covenants.

It was really fun, though it was kind of nerve-wracking while I was reciting. I got asked one of the three I had been praying I wouldn't get!

I'm really glad Courtney was there, too. It's nice to have your best friend to back you up on things like that :)

The one I didn't want to get was Deuteronomy 4:39-40, because I always go past the end of it :) I did make it all the way through, praise the Lord!

Before Semis, I was 14, which put me at nine after.
