I saw the Hobbit 2 last Friday…it was a lot better than the first!! A lot more action. :D But why does it have to have that cliffhanger?! ;) My friend said that they've already made the third, but they're just waiting to show it to people! :O

To see *teh* movie? Is "teh" some new grammatical innovation I've not heard of??

It's an innovation in pronunciation that you've never heard of. :P

And is that somehow better? :P I've heard it could be considered worse. :P

Hm……Extended Blu-Ray Edition…….high-def, more features…..yeah, that sounds bad, huh? :P

The high-definition just makes it look fake. The only thing good about it is the extra features, but that's not worth it. :P

Opinions opinions. We've had a 'ray for a long while, and loved every minute.

It's basically a high-definition DVD, with extra special features. Not much better than DVD, if at all... :P

I even went over this in Physics class! Even from a scientific standpoint alone, Blu-Ray discs and disc players are way better than DVDs!

Blu-Ray players use blue light, rather than red, to read the discs. As blue light is a shorter wavelength than red light, it can read more information from the disc, allowing a Blu-Ray disc to have 50 gb of memory, in comparison to the 4.7 gb of DVDs. Because of this larger storage space, it can hold more special features, and support HD viewing.

So what? What if you don't care about the special features? Or you only want to see one part of the features that can be found on the DVD? I think Blu-Ray is kinda cool, even though we don't have one, but I don't see how they could be so much better than plain old DVDs. :)

High-Def, plus, you can select scenes without going all the way back to the menu. Let me explain:

Say, for example, you're watching The Princess Bride, with your sis Megzter. You watch the part where they climb the Cliffs of Insanity, but she wants to see the marriage scene. You can open up a scene selection box right under the video, so you're still seeing the cliff scene, but can at the same time scroll through all of the other scenes to find the one you want to watch. With DVD, you'd have to go out to the menu, and then to Scene Selection menu, and find the page that has the scene ypu're looking for.

I know, that was kind of a weak defense, but I've stated my main points before. :P
