5 minutes of jumping jacks!

What other question?
Sarah B.
I never do jumping jacks anymore!
Dani(elle)
Have you ever timed yourself in anything? :)
Dani(elle)
It's funny how this thread got from jumping jacks to freestyle:)
lol
SavedByGrace
She did answer that question… look a little more closely. ;)
Dani(elle)
No I never have timed myself... I should do that sometime! What are your speeds?
if I gave you times (numbers) would it mean anything to you? :)
Dani(elle)
whoops my bad. :P
Cryptologist
Do you need to ask a question like that to a spy? :P
I'm just curious. :)
biblebee
If y'all thought that 5 minutes of jumping jacks was hard…just try doing 8 minutes of it!!
Dani(elle)

apparently. lol so what do u want to know?
God's Maiden of Virtue
Ooh, now that would be fun!
SavedByGrace
Yeah, until you're halfway through and dying. :P
biblebee

Was that sarcastic? It is so not fun!!!!!!!!!!! I can barely use my legs the muscles are so sore. Oh, and never do that many jumping jacks without socks…unless you want to get blisters on your feet.
God's Maiden of Virtue
Um, a little of both. Sure, it would be quite hard, but I always enjoy the challenge.
God's Maiden of Virtue
But I didn't feel like I was dying when I did the five minutes.
biblebee
I like challenges as well. And I didn't feel like I was dying when I did the five minutes. But, trust me, this is so much more work. Unless you build up to it I would suggest not doing it. Like I said, I did that yesterday morning and now I can barely walk…not to mention the two blisters on my feet and my toes are kinda swollen. So if you are going to do it…build up to it first!!!!!
God's Maiden of Virtue
I'll take your advice. :) Though, my toes are always swollen in the winter…due to, well, never mind.
biblebee
Good! Okay :-(

uh yeah I'd rather swim for three hours. lol
Caleb
Does anyone here do workouts seriously? Like with weights and stuff? :)
Dance4Him
Kinda. I really need to more.
Caleb
Yeah! It's hard to do it consistently. I've just recently started doing 3 workouts a week. I'll see how long I can keep it up for :)
Ian R.2
Yes! I've been working out for over a year. I try to get four workouts in per week. :)
Caleb
That's great! How do you spread the four days in the week? I've been doing alternating upper and lower body workouts. Is that what you do too?
Ian R.2
I have Mondays, and Thursdays for my chest, triceps, and shoulders, and I have Tuesdays, and Saturdays for my back, biceps, legs, and abs. :)
Caleb
oh ok right! I've been doing workouts Monday, Wednesday, Friday alternating
Ian R.2
I used to do that, but I would do a full-body workout, and it would just take too long. I think the split routine is much better. :)
Caleb
I'm doing a split too, but a little differently. Basically what I'm doing is:
week 1: monday upper body, wednesday lower body, friday upper again
week 2: Monday lower body, Wednesday upper body, Friday Lower body
Your split routine looks really good too. I might even change…
Caleb
Do you use machines or free weights?
Ian R.2
I don't think I've seen a workout routine quite like that.
I use free weights. :)
Caleb
Oh ok yeah! I do too :) Just dumbbells not barbells though
Ian R.2
I have a barbell, but I don't use it for much. I mostly use dumbbells. I also have ankle weights. :)
Dani(elle)

yes. lol
Caleb
Serious? With weights? Or just the workout part :)
Dani(elle)
with weights. I lift for swimming. I'm on a school team we have like a full gym.
Caleb
That's cool! I don't know any girls who actually weight lift :) . But girls won't bulk up like guys if they don't lift extremely heavy stuff.
Dani(elle)
true… to some extent. :P
Caleb
Are you two from the same church?
Dani(elle)
Ian and I? Yes. :P lol
Caleb
Oh ok! :)

What exercise do you use for triceps?
Dani(elle)
stifles answering the question cause is was posed at Ian
Caleb
Go ahead! I'd like to hear your answer too :)
Everett C
I do serious workouts with weights and stuff. I kind of stopped during Bible Bee, so I probably should start again. :P I used to do a lot of push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, weights… I did do Power 90, the easier version of P90X (if you know what that is), and I ran a mile on Saturday's. I haven't done that in a while but I plan to start again soon!
Caleb
Nice! No, I've never heard about P90X before. Is it effective?
Dani(elle)
Wiki it :P I've done some of the P90X work outs but I've never done the full 90 days. My Mom and younger brother (Josh a.k.a. Boromir) did it though.
Dani(elle)
</blockquote>What exercise do you use for triceps?</blockquote>
We have a tricep pull down machine at the school, but more simple things we do like, tricep kickbacks, tricep puch-ups, and more stuff I can't think of right now :P
Caleb
I looked it up. :) So is it all on dvd?
Dani(elle)
yeah the videos are but there are like sheets and stuff u print out to keep track etc.
Caleb
Ok, I do kickbacks, and triceps dumbbell extension. All the equipment we have is dumbbells a barbell, and an exercise bench. I've never used machines.
