In 2012/2013 we went to a friends house, and we celebrated the entrance of the New Year 9 pm our time, but midnight in Brazil. :) We had a Brazil themed evening.

On of the reasons we did that was because New year's day was Sunday, and we didn't want to be yawning in church the that day ;)

No precipitation here, surprisingly–we've been having some pretty nasty snows recently! But so has most everybody else. :P
